ROBYN'S POV

'Mum? Are you home?'

'Yes, in the kitchen!'

I wandered through and tossed my bag aside as I took a seat at the dining table. I reflected on my day which resulted in me biting my lip as I remembered Tony catching me. On the inside I was nervous, but at the time I thought I was playing it cool - I wasn't.

'How was your day?'

'Tiring.'

'Well your Dad called, he misses you Jewl.'

'I don't miss him.' I got up and left the room, angry that my Mum had brought up my Dad. I hated him - he left when I was young (which lead to us being really poor for a while) but still wanted to keep in contact with me? I was having none of it and hated when people forced me into meeting him.

I threw myself on my bed and pulled my phone out of my pocket. Tapping on 'messages', I began to text Jaime as I knew he'd cheer me up.

To: Jaime
Cheer me up, she brought up my Dad. :(x

Aww boo, are you alright? x

To: Jaime
Yeah, I'll be fine. Just need to do something to get my mind off it x

From: Jaime
I'd invite you over for a movie but I've got a shit load of homework:( Trust me to miss out on such a good fucking opportunityD; x

To: Jaime
In your dreams Preciado;) x

From: Jaime
Can't wait to fall asleep tonight!x

To: Jaime
Shut up you! Sick boy haha! Thank you for cheering me up x

No bother boo, I'm always here for you x

I sat up and looked over at my desk to see a large pile of homework that had accumulated. I felt a deep sense of emptiness as everything was piling around me, a fort was forming and I had no idea how to get rid of it. I shut my eyes and tried to lock out my Dad's demands and the pressure of school, it was all building up so fast.

Notes

This chapter sucks but it was a filler and let's face it, sometimes they're necessary.
