JULIE'S POV

A year; me and Tony lasted a year. Eventually, Pierce The Veil blew up and we broke up because he was going on tour. It was a clean break up, we both agreed long distance wouldn't work.

'I'm going to miss you,' said Tony, taking my hands in his. 'I really wish there was a way this could work,' he said, sniffling back the tears.

'Me too, Tony. This is shit,' I replied, letting a few tears fall.

'Please don't cry, please,' he said, pulling me into his chest. I inhaled the familiar smell of his, thinking it would be the last time I'd ever smell it.

'Tony, you ready?' shouted Jaime from the other room.

'Yeah,' he exclaimed, pulling away from me. 'I'm sorry,' he said softly, placing a gentle kiss on my forehead before leaving the room.

The first few weeks without him were terrible. Every Saturday at 5 I'd forget that he wasn't driving me to the group anymore. I kept going to text him a silly selfie of me at work like we always did on the weekends. I couldn't and didn't want to break the routine I'd grown accustom to. I loved it. I loved him. You'll get over him soon, I told myself, but was I right?
