Pretty Red Dress
JULIE'S POV
Taking another bow, I stood in the row behind the freshman pupils who were doing the same. We all waved before running off to the left, the curtains failling as we exited. The crowd roared as we all pilled into the dressing rooms we'd been assigned.
'Great job, brilliant show!' exclaimed Miss Gaffney, tossing her now useless clipboard to one side.so she could share high-fives with everyone. I gave her one before grabbing my dance bag and rushing off to find Tony.
Wandering through the densely packed corridors that were below and behind the stage, I found myself a little lost. I turned an quickly found myself colliding with some girls back. Apologising repeatedly, I hurried off in the other direction before arms caught me, stopping me from colliding into another body.
'You were great,' said Tony into my ear, hugging me tight.
'So were you,' I chimed back, thankful it was him.
Pulling away, he took my hand and guided me out of the bustling little area we were stuck in. We came out on to a dark, deserted hallway and began to make our way to the exit door which was a corridor or two away.
'Are you wanting to change for this party?' he asked.
'Um, yeah,' I admitted.
'Okay, want to just stop at yours on the way there then?'
'Sounds good,' I replied, allowing our pace to slow so he could wrap his arm around my waist and pull me in to his side.
'Here's one,' I said, pulling out a dress and showing it to Tony. He smiled at the little red number, nodding frantically. 'Okay, just let me go change.' I went into the ensuite bathroom and took off my costume before sliding into the tight dress. Looking in the mirror, I grinned as it fit in all the right places. It went half way down my thigh and went in a the waist, complimenting my curvy figure. For the first time in quite a while, I felt good about my body.
Stepping out of the bathroom, I laughed as Tony's eyes lit up. 'Jesus,' he said under his breathe. I quickly noticed that his eyes were not going to risk coming off the dress, they were well and truly fixed.
'Tony?'
'Sorry, uh, let's go,' he hopped up off the bed and gestured for me to hurry up as I grabbed a little black clutch and black heels, stumbling along as I tried to get them on. Falling into the car, I reapplied a little makeup as he began to drive us to the party.
'Dude!' shouted Austin, toppling to the right. 'How was the s-show?' he hiccuped.
'It's a Wednesday, man. Go easy on the drink!' Tony replied, catching Austin before he tumbled again.
'Nobody else is, it's fine,' he giggled, taking another swig from the beer bottle in his unsteady hand.
Leaving Austin down at thte bottom of the front lawn, we made our way up to the house and began to converse with other guests. Tony went to talk to some friends I didn't know, so I grabbed a drink and wandered off. Eventually, I found myself in someone's bedroom, sitting on the edge of the comfy mattress with a near empty can of soda in one hand. I didn't like parties at all, but I went anyway.
'Julie,' said a voice from behind me, I turned to see a drunken Mike stumble in, the door slam shut behind him. 'Lookin' hot,' he stated.
'Lookin' drunk,' I observed.
'Mhmm, a bit.' He took a seat next to me, too close for my comfort. 'That dress is quite slutty,' he began, one hand on my thigh, 'It's very short, Jewls.'
'Get off Mike, you're pissed.'
He pushed me down on the bed and pinned my arms either side of my body. 'Shh, don't tell Tony.' Hovering over me, he leaned in and began to try and kiss me. I twisted my head in all directions, but I couldn't squirm out of his arms. 'C'mon Julie, let's have some fun,' he whispered, the alcohol strong on his breathe.
'Fuck off!' I shouted, my cries being drowned out by the blaring music. 'Mike, get off! You're fucking disgusting!' I screamed desperately. No answer.
'Forcefully pressing his lips to mine, he slid his hand up the dress I now deeply regretted wearing. 'Let's get this dress off, shall we?'
