Fast In My Car
Live For The Buzz
JULIE'S POV
From: Jaime
Good morning boo, any plans for this rainy sunday?x
I sat up, still engulfed in my duvet, and thought about the day ahead. After the lake last night, and Tony kissing me goodnight, and him saying we should have a movie day tomorrow, and that I looked stunning, I wanted to spend the day with him. I now faced the ultimate decision - friend of crush?
To: Jaime
I'm meeting with a friend to watch some movies, yourself?x
From: Jaime
No:(, I've got no plans. Who's the friend?x
To: Jaime
Tony:)x
From: Jaime
K, have fun.
I felt a skelf of anger as I read Jaime's last text, why didn't he approve of me hanging out with Tony?
From: Tony
Morning, still up for the movie thing?
To: Tony
Sure :)
From: Tony
Cool, my house in an hour. See you.
Smiling like an idiot, I crawled out of bed and went for a shower. Once sufficently bubbly, I rinsed down and stepped out, antarctic air filling the room as the water went off. I dried myself off before putting on skinny black jeans and a loose Memphis May Fire top. My hair was thrown up into a messy bun and I had winged eyeliner on with a little mascara.
TONY'S POV
'Hey, come in,' I said, stepping aside to let Julie in.
Taking her hand, I guided her through to my bedroom and plopped her down before sticking in the first of many movies I'd arranged to watch. I pressed 'play' and then grabbed the popcorn I had made and scurried up the bed, sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with her.
We watched as some old woman died, the family looking distraught. 'Are you scared of death?' she asked, eyes fixated on the screen.
'A bit, I like life.'
'Why?'
'I like playing music, it gives me a buzz. I like you, you give me a buzz.'
'You like buzzes,' she observed. 'What if those buzzes went away?'
'In what sen-'
'Like, if I died?'
'Then, I guess, I'd die too.'
The room fell silent and I could almost see the words that had just passed my lips hanging in the air. I began to panic as she did not reply, but my mind was soon put to rest by the feeling of her lips on my cheek. I turned my head and let our lips meet, quickly placing my hand on the side of her face. I smiled into the kiss at first, before being completely swallowed by the passion I felt and the intensity of the moment. She pulled away abruptly and turned her attention back to the TV. I stared in amazement at her, she was trying to mask her smile, but I could see it, I could see the grin creeping on her dark red lips.
'God, your perfect,' I whispered, unaware that I was talking aloud.
