Chapter 8

Tia's pov-

I walked back over to Kellin.
"Are you ok, you were in the bathroom for 20 minutes" he asked.
"yeah I just ran into mitch and met his little family" I said sitting in front of him.
"cool" he said. He brought out his phone and took a pic of me taking a sip of my iced tea.
I got a notification on Facebook. (I know there's just a fan page for him, but just go with it)

and he posted my photo along with it. I smiled and liked it.
I checked the comment section.
"They are cute together!"
"Wait are they dating!?"
"He could do alot better than that bitch"
were some of the comments.
Our order came out and we ate quickly.
"So do you want to go to the movied?" Kellin asked.
"yeah sure" I said.
After we watched about 3 movies we went to the mall for a few hours and by the time we got to a park and saw kids playing on the swing set and slides. It was getting dark. After they left me and Kellin started having fun
I got on the swing and he started pushing me.
"higher!" I giggled.
He pushed harder. And he got on his swing.
we just swang.
"You can't jump as far as me!" He said like a child.
"yes I can!" I said sticking out my toungue.
"Let's see who can jump farer!" Kellin said.
I nodded.
"1, 2, 3!" He said.
we jumped off and landed in the grass side by side.
"I beat you!" I said teasingly.
"nuh uh!" He said flipping me off.
I just layed on my back laughing.
we looked up at the sky which had stars barely coming out.
"It's beautiful" I said admiring them.
"yeah, but not asbeautiful as you" Kellin said turning his head ttoward me.
"shut up Kellin" I laughed.
"Do you think your true love is looking at the stars right now?" I asked remembering what Jolie said about finding her perfect match.
"I think so" he said.
from the corner of my eye, I saw him staring at me.
"Yes mr.Quinn?" I asked.
"nothing"
I turned to him.
And just hugged him.
"I'm sorry for that night, I ran away" I said.
"I couldn't stop thinking about you the first night" he admitted I smiled. We stared into each others eyes. Not wanting to break the stare. He glanced at my lips and back up at my eyes. I lightly bit my lip. I could feel him leaning in and I caught myself.
our lips finally met. We moved in sync not wanting to let go. I felt his tounge lick my bottom lip wanting entrance. I couldn't help but let him in. He gave me so many butterflies. I can't believe it, I'm kissing one of my best friends!
"Hey! Don't do that!" A guy said shining a light at us. We quickly pulled apart seeing a security guard.
"park closes at 8, what are you kids still doing here?" He asked.
"we were just leaving" Kellin said grabbing my hand and running back to the car. We got in and he started driving. We sat in awkward silence while driving.
"Did we just?" He asked completely in shock
"I think we did" I said also in shock.
"Did it mean anything?" He asked.
"I don't know" I said.
"Um, let's not talk about it" I said. He nodded in agreement. We finally got to my apartment complex.
He walked me to my door.
"I'm sorry about earlier, I didn't mean t-" I quickly cut him off and crashed my lips to him. Surprised he kissed back. Then the sprinkler came on. We ran to the lobby soaking wet and laughing. "I had alot of fun Kellin" I smiled. "I did too" he said kissing my forehead. "I'll see you.tomorrow" I said. He waved and I wemt.back up to my apartment. I closed the door behind me and rested my back against it.
I felt like a girl who had her first crush.
"what happened to you?" Katie asked coming out of her room. "Is it ok to kiss your best friend?" I asked.
"You kissed TONY!?" She asked with her eyes widened.
"no! I kissed Kellin" I said blushing.
"ah!" She screamed hugging me
"my best friend has a boyfriend!" She sang aloud.
"katie shut up! Wearen't official!" I said
"still" she began to sing again. I changedinti dry clothes and went to sleep.
