Capitulo tres
When we got there i saw vic's and jaime's cars parked in front of my driveway.
I parked my car and pulled the key out of the ignition. I got out of the driver's seat and opened the door for melodee. She smiled and whispered a 'thank you'.
When we walked into the house i saw jaime talking on the phone, mike making out with some chick in the living room, and vic playing his guitar. I waved a 'hi' to each one of them and lead her into my room.
"So where should we start? Research or designing?" She asked as she sat down on my bed, opening her binders and taking out a pair of glasses.
"You wear glasses?"
"Uhhmm, yeah...ughh i don't like them. i look ugly" She put on the glasses and smiled shyly.
She looked beautiful.
"No, you look beautiful, sorry if the question bothered you, it's just that i wear glasses too" i took out my own pair from my table drawer and put them on awkwardly.
"You look cute" she smiled and covered her face with her bangs.
Damn, she looked good with her glasses on, well me? I looked like a loner nerd with a vision impairment, and she, well he looked like a pretty studious girl with good taste in glasses.
"Gee thanks, but there's no need to lie" she chuckled lightly and put her hand her face.
"Well i guess we should start researching?" She nodded and got to work right away, pulling a small laptop from a bookbag she carried with her.
I suddenly got lost in my thoughts, i couldn't stop staring at her, but why? I had a girlfriend who i love with all my heart, even though we've been fighting alot lately, we were aiming for 2 years together and i couldn't possibly ruin it now.
I suddenly felt her hand on my shoulder,
"aren't you going to answer that?"
I was snapped out of my daydreaming to hear my phone ringing on my hand. I read it.
'Alexandra'
I slid the green button. "what?"
"Nothing much, i just missed you so much baby, haven't talked to you or seen you in months, come over to my place?"
"Sorry, not now..i'm working on a project due monday, maybe some other time okay?"
"Look tony! I'm not just an option that you can choose to decline!! I am your GIRLFRIEND! You always have to have time for me! Come here right now or it's..!!"
"Don't you say? well miss, weren't you the one that ignored ME for a whole month or so for NO damn reason? You left ME hanging, didn't reply MY messages, didn't answer MY calls, and walked away from ME at school several times? So don't come to me with this now...i really don't feel like fighting right now...wait, you know what? It's over!"
" Ughh you're such a idiot i swear! I don't need you anyways i can get another one 1000 times better than you and just so you know i don't need y..!"
I hung up and threw my phone at the wall furiously. Well that might leave a crack.
I turned around to find mel's eyes looking at me sadly
"I'm sorry, i didn't mean for you to see all of this..."
"It's okay tone,What happened?"
"It's my girlfriend alex, she's just so demanding. She thinks that since we are dating she owns me, she controls everything i do and don't. I just broke up with her, 2 years with her now gone straight to the dump!"
I managed to let out a faint chuckle as i thought of how she thought she owned me.
right now i found myself spilling my heart and feelings out to a stranger i barely met a couple of hours ago in school. I never normally spill things out easily, i don't open up that much to anyone, Not even to vic, jaime or mike (wich i could count on unconditionaly) . so i found this really weird and awkward. I took my hat off and threw it on a small table bear by, revealing my long padawan braid.
"You have a padawan braid?!!"
"Yeah, big star wars fan here.."
I saw her pull under her messy bun and reveal a padawan braid, shorter than mines.
"i actually have all of the movies, so.. ermm..., Marathon??"
She squealed with excitement, "Of course!"
"I'll make popcorn and bring drinks, you, bed now!"
"Let me go to the restroom first! Where is it?
"Down the hall to the left or door next to my drawer!"
I ran downstairs, shoved some popcorn bags in the microwave and got sodas out of the fridge. When i was back up stairs i saw her cozy in my blankets, at the sight of me she smiled sweetly and patted the space next to her. I layed down next to her and pressed play on the remote control. As the movie went by the sun went down.
i felt her snuggle up on me so her head was on my chest and my arms were lightly wrapped around her. I smiled at the sight of her eyes completely shut. I got up as carefully as i could to prevent waking her up and took a blanket and a pillow downstairs.
"She still here?" I heard jaime ask from behind me.
"Yeah, she's asleep, i'll sleep on the couch..i don't want to wake her up, she looked so peaceful"
"I think i'll be heading home now, it's pretty late, vic and mike are gone. See ya' tommorrow morning."
"Kay, be careful man"
Thankfully it was friday and there was no school tommorrow.
I gave jaime a bro hug and locked the door after him. I layed on the couch and dozed off into a good night sleep
