For the rest of the day, I sat with the guys chatting on the sofa. I spent most of the time on Jaime's knee. We played truth or dare, which involved me making out with Mike. I can't say it didn't feel right. It was perfect. Even if I had a boyfriend! We both lingered for a while to be fair. After, we had Pizza, watched American Horror Story and the last thing I remember was drinking a bottle of Jack. When I woke up, I was in my bed, still in the clothes from yesterday. On my bedside table was an A4 piece of paper folded in half. On the front, read;
EMBER
Printed quickly on the front. I opened it up.
Hey there, we had to leave, because your Mom and Steve were coming home (We saw a text from Steve). It's a good job your bedroom's on the bottom floor, because Mike couldn't've carried you up the stairs. We also escaped through the bedroom window, so if anything happened to anything on the windowsill, we'll pay for it. See you at Starbucks for 11!

I smiled and got up and changed into http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_74/set?id=86851048 and then I grabbed my rucksack. Mom was downstairs making breakfast.
"Hey" I said, grabbing a stool and sitting on a chair.
"Morning sweetie" She smiled brightly
"You're... Happy"
She smiled "I want to tell you something"
"Shit..." I mumbled
"No no no nothing like that"
"Then what...?"
"It's your Dad... he finally called"
"What? Oh my god, that's great"
"I know, he wants to see you"
"He... He does?" She nodded. "Wow! That's great"
I grabbed a bacon sandwich that my Mom had been making.
"Hey! They're for Steve"
"Well good for Steve, If I want food, I'll get it"
"What is your problem with him?" Mom said, snapping at me unexpectedly.
"Does no one remember what happened 3 years ago?"
"All this because he saved yoyr life?"
"YES MOM! I just wanted to die! You have no idea what ahit I went through at all! It was all I wanted, and he couldn't even give me that!"
"Sophie Louise Perry-"
"Oh, we're using full names now?"
" Yes we are young lady"
"Stop treating me like a kid who justgot in trouble at school! I am perfectly capable of killing myself without you giving me more fucking reasons!"
I pushed the chair back and scooped my car keys. My Mom was silent as I slammed the door shut. I sat in my car, keeping my tears back. My phone buzzed.
Tony<3: Hey, We're at Starbucks now, so we'll see you in a bit<3
Me: Yeah, okay c:<3
I pulled out of the driveway and onto the road, not looking back to see my Mom watching me go.
