10 Years.
Chapter 3~ Sorry...
A week later, and I was getting myself ready for the signing. I put on: www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=85741...
and painted my nails black. I packed my bag up. $60, check. Ticket and Lanyard, check. Signing book (full of all the band signatures I'd got), check. Phone, Ipod, earphones, check. I climbed in my car and drove off to hot topic in the middle of town. I stood against a window, completely bypassing the PTV poster the girl had in front of me. There was a loud scream from the girls in front. A taxi had just pulled round the corner. I couldn't see anyone inside the car. Didn't see anybody enter the shop. I was sent in on my own, about 6 or 7th. I went up to the first guy.
"Hey man, w'sup?" I smiled, giving him a hi-five.
"Not much, you're awful confident"
"I'm not gunna lie, I've never really listened to your band"
"It's okay, always happy to get new fans"
"Is it bad to say I don't know your name?"
"Nah, I'm Vic Fuentes"
"Ember Perry"
I handed him my signature book.
"So, have you heard any of our songs?"
"A few, Bulls In The Bronx and King For A Day, it was on Kerrang! as I left"
"You like em?"
"Yeah, they're pretty fuckin' cool"
"Rad"
I moved along to the guy next to him.
"Hey man" I said "Which one are you then?"
"Mike Fuentes"
"Nice, I had a brother once"
"Once?"
"Been 10 years since I saw him"
"Wow, that's rough"
"Yep"
He signed my book then I moved on to the next guy.
"You are?"
"Tony Perry"
"Wow, that was my broth-"
Then I looked up. His eyes met mine.
"T-Tony?"
"Yeah, that's my name"
"Y-You don't remember me?"
"Should I..."
"I'm your... Sister, Ember..."
"Nope, doesn't ring a-"
I looked into his eyes.
"I'm sorry..." He apologised
I stood back and ran out. Tony and the guy at the end looked confused and shouted my name.
"HEY LADY! You forgot you-" the photographer shouted
"FUCK YOU" I shouted back, continuing to run.
I went outside to all the fangirls giggling.
*That night*
I'd been sat outside the venue for 4 hours, listening to music and looking up Tony on google. It was him alright. Not changed in the slightest, he was still really really shy. I sighed and put my phone in my pocket, changing the song to Devil's Night. There was a shift in the queue as the doors opened. Many people in SWS and SOS shirts, bit not many with PTV. I sighed and handed the door man my ticket. I planned on getting barrier to see Tony play. There has to be some way I can get him to notice it's me.
