10 Years.
Chapter 1~ Gig tickets.
It was 10pm when I decided to buy some gig tickets. I sat, hunched over my computer, scrolling through pages of unknown bands that were trying to make it big in America. Then I saw 'BRING ME THE HORIZON'... Sold out. Damn. I carried on scrolling. My Chemical Romance, Sold out, Bullet For My Valentine, sold out. Sleeping With Sirens, 1 tickets available! I skimmed over the support bands. Pierce The Veil and Season of Secrets. A few seconds later, I was the owner of a SWS ticket.
*Morning*
I rubbed my eyes and propped myself up. Last day of College, then I was free to start my Photography career. I quickly changed into: www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=85374... I walked downstairs to find my Mom and step-dad arguing again. I picked a cup of tea that was by the kettle. Sitting down in front of the telly, I sighed and crossed my legs on the sofa. I put my ear buds in and drowned out the noise of Mom and Steve arguing. Probably about me... or my dad... or Tony. I always used to call him Turtle, because he always used to sleep with a little turtle called Pete, and he called me Ember, because my hair was a ginger colour. 10 years since I saw him. I drank my tea then headed outside, where Aura was stood, leaning against my car. She was tapping her foot impatiently.
"Morning Au-" I sighed
"5 minutes late!" She burst in
"I got carried away, Mom and Steve arguing again"
"Well, I've already had breakfast, so, If you wanna call at Maccy's to get something?"
"Sure, I'm really fucking hungry"
We opened my Mini-Cooper's car doors and I pulled out the driveway.
"So, did you find any gig tickets?" Aura asked me, rolling down her window
"Yeah, I got the last Sleeping With Sirens one!" I replied Aura's face dropped.
"Wh-who's the support act?"
"Season of Secrets, and some band called Pierce The Veil"
She smiled. "Well, I heard, at hot topic, they've got Lanyards for a Pierce The Veil signing!"
"Oh, cool! Fancy coming with me to celebrate the end of College?"
"Haha! Sure, whatever! Then it's pizzas and films at mine tonight?"
"Sure is! But, how the fuck am I supposed to meet a band when I have no clue who they are!"
"You met Black Veil Brides when you had no clue who they were when we were over in England for the Kerrang! Tour, and now they're your favorite band!"
I shrugged. "I know, but I mean, I've just got like, a hunch about this, almost like something weird'll happen."
"Go, it'll be good for you to get some knew bands in your head, I'm sick of you talking about Motionless In White and Fearless Vampire Killers."
I laughed. We pulled down the drive-thru at McDonalds and I got some breakfast, then we headed off to our last day.
