The Men in Blue are Here for You

When I was finally ready, I was suprised to see Troy and Mike had already started drinking. Each had a beer in their hand chatting about something.

"There she is!" Mike said clapping his hands above his head, "You left the mace right?"

I laughed and ignored him as Troy slipped his arm around my waist.

"I'm being serious did you?"

The Tipsy Crow was cream colored building with yellow accents that blended in with the area. It was an old bar that I frequented on the weekends. It held so many memories of exciting times with friends.

Once inside Vic, Jamie, and their dates had saved us a table near the front of the stage. I introduced myself to all of their dates but soon noticed Mike didn't have anyone with him. Soon, Tony and Charm joined us.

"Hey, where is your date?" I whispered once we had been seated.

"She's on her way." Mike sounded kind of annoyed but I just shrugged it off.

Once we had around of drinks, a tall bony girl with long black hair approach our table. She half smiled half waved at us before taking the seat next to Mike and pulling out her phone. Tony and I made eye contact; he had obviously never meet her before, neither.

After a few more drinks the comedy show started. Never once did I see Mike's date look up from her phone, even he didn't seem that interested in her.

Once the show was coming to a close the comedian looked out to the crowd and said, "Now people, there is a special friend of mine here tonight and he asked me to let him up on the stage to say a few words. I automatically asked why he would want MY," He motioned up and down his body, "spot light." the crowd chuckled," But then he explained to me why. So I'm going to let him stage now. Troy?"

I looked at Troy questionably as he stood up and walked towards the stage. He grabbed the mic and looked out at everyone, "Hello," his nerves caused him to laugh lightly, "I, uh, well, I'm not very good at speaking publicly. Especially with something some important. But I didn't want anyone to be able to forget this night." He ran his fingers through his hair, "I meet this girl about 2 year ago." I felt my face becoming red as random people began staring at me, "She's the best women I have ever meet. Before she came into my life, I felt like I had no purpose. Fiona," I felt the heat of a spot light turn towards me, "everyday that I am with you, my love for you gets stronger. The way your eye light up when see the ocean it gives me hope for humanity." He walked down the stage held out his hand to me. He helped me out of my seat and we stood before the whole bar, "I never want to spend another day without you." Troy got down on one knee and pulled a box from his jacket pocket, "Will you marry me?"

I felt tears swell in my eyes as I looked down at the man I loved. I couldn't speak. My body released endorphin. All I could do was nod.

The crowd erupted into cheers as Troy slipped the ring on my finger. He grabbed my face, capturing me a long passionate kiss. This was the man I was going to spend the rest of my days.

Once we returned to the table a bottle of nice wine was delivered to our table, on the house. I couldn't help but notice Mike and his date were gone. Mike probably took her back to his place for the night.

As our night came to a close, Troy decided he'd stay at his place tonight for the last time. He would be moving all of his things in tomorrow morning.

When I got home, I sat on the couch thinking of the small differences the house would soon have. No longer would there be only one coffee cup or one tooth brush. His things would litter my home in the best way possible. I sat int the living room for hours day dreaming about the small changes.

I was shaken from my fantasy, as someone pounded on my door. I looked at the clock.

2:15. They pounded on the door again.

Who was at my door?

They pounded again, "Fiona!!" I heard a drunken Mike scream from outside my door.

I placed my hand over my chest trying to calm my nerves, "You almost gave me a heart attack." I said opening the door.

Mike came stumbling in, almost knocking over a lamp, "Fiona." His words were a little slurred.

"Mike go lay down in the guest room." I pointed down the hall way.

"No, I need to talk to you." He stood up rather straight.

"Okay," I crossed my arms, "go ahead."

"Please, don't marry Troy." His words felt like they had came to life and slapped me in the face.

"And why not?" I asked swallowing hard.

"He's not the one for you."

I rolled my eyes and laughed, "Oh and yes you, Mike Fuentes, you sure do know who the one for me is." I walked into kitchen and began fixing two glasses of water.

"No. Listen to me." Mike looked me dead in my eyes and I sat the glasses back down,
"You can't marry him."

"Give me one good reason why not?!" I walked from behind the counter the stand face to face to him.

"I can't tell you why. Just please don't!" Mike was getting angry with me.

I felt tears swell up in my eyes, "No. Nononononono. No." I waved both my hands in front of him.

"Please." His voice was but a whisper, "I love you."

I could feel the tears and pent up anger boil over, "You don't get to say that to me now!" I slammed my fist down onto a near by counter, "You had ample opportunities! You chose where you wanted to be. You chose random fangirls!"

Mike placed his hands on my upper arms, "Fiona," I stared into his dark brown eyes. I was under his control. All over again. Mike's right hand caressed the side of my face, "Let me love you."

His lips grazed mine and my body was on fire. Within seconds our hands were all over each other trying to hold on. I had given into him again. He bit into my lower lip causing me to let out a soft moan, as I dug my nails into his back.

Mike lifted me up and placed me on top of the counter. His hands exposed my breast.

His fingers played with my nipples making me uncontrollably horny.

Once I was moaning from that, his hands ventured lower. He pulled my dress up showing off my black silk underwear. His fingers massaged my clit making me scream out his name.

"Mike," I called out through moans, "Mike."

I was on the verge of climax when my stomach dropped and guilt filled my body, "Mike, stop."I said pushing him away lightly. I covered my chest with my arms, "Please," I chocked back tears, "please just go."

Mike didn't hesitate. He grabbed his keys and left. I was alone in the kitchen crying. The ideas of this home being made for two crashed around me. I was never going to be able to hide this.

I looked down at the ring I had received less than 6 hours ago. I needed him. I wanted
Troy. I found my phone called him.

"Hello, love." His voice was deep and sheepish.

"Is there anyway you can come over?" I tried to sound fine but it was so hard.

"It's late and I'm really tired."

"I know." I could feel the tears coming back again, "I just don't want to be alone right now." They fell hard and they fell faster than before.

"Alright, I'll be right there. Don't cry." His voice was worried.

I laid down on the couch, crying, waiting for Troy.

The sun was rising and someone was knocking at my door. I guess Troy must have fallen back to sleep after our phone call. I resituated my dress and opened the door.

"Can I help you officers?"
