Going Back To the Past

A few set had gone by, I had enjoyed every one. I didn't really know anyone but I was fun just being in the crowd. I tried to keep and eye on Alex as the crowd moved. He was a jumper then add the movement of the crowd, he was consistently moving. If he got too far out I would try to make my way up to him.

The last band to play was suicide silence.(RIP MITCH) Which I was a fan of, It was a great show. Mitch really knew how to scream and work the crowd. After they left stage people started to leave the stage. Most bands did signings after their set so I guess people left for that.

We were already really close to the stage but because of people leaving we were able our way to the front. we were maybe two or three people away from the barrier. To see the excitement on Alex's face was priceless.

"This is perfect!" Alex shouted over the noise of the crowd.
"Who's next?" I asked him.
He answered me but because of the crowd I couldn't hear or make out what he was saying . I just let it go, I eventually would find out who was next.

Surprisingly today it didn't take them very long to set up for the next band. hey had already Put the drums and other amps up in no time. It wouldn't be long until the next band would be on.

Alex grabbed my arm and yelled, "I see them They are coming on." I then looked up at the stage and there coming on was no other than Pierce The Veil. "Well shit," I thought to myself. I should have seen this coming, Alex loved them so of course, he would want to see them.

As they were walking the crowd cheered and yelled like crazy. They started their set with Bulletproof Love. Despite my past with Vic they were really good, No matter how much it pained me to see Vic I had to stay. They were Alex's favorite band and I couldn't leave him alone I had promised his mom not to let him out of my sight.

One thing Vic knew how to do was put to put on a show. Their set was One of the most energetic That I had seen today. Deep down I was proud of him and Mike they had wanted this their whole life.

Everything was going well until A little over half way through their set they were taking a small break and Vic started to tell a story.

"How is everyone doing out there? Is everyone drinking plenty of water? Well, that's good. This next song in named Besitos, I wrote in the perspective of a girl that I kind of dated on and off during high school. Her name was Annabel, she was an amazing person. At the time I didn't realize it. After graduation, we moved to San Francisco together. While there she was a perfect little housewife, she took care of me. And what Did I do, I would go out with other girls just like in high school. It wasn't until after a girl dumped me because I was living with her did I realize what I had. That's when I decided to the most outrageous thing ever. I bought an engagement ring. I was going to ask her to marry me. I was scared shitless so I stayed out that whole night before I was going to ask her. I just drove around the whole night. Then that morning when I came home I found all of her stuff packed up. I didn't know what to do. Then when she came home from work, she left me. My whole world came crashing down, I went back home and told myself I would never do that to another girl."

I had started to cry I couldn't control myself, I looked over at Alex as the song started to play he was mesmerized by the show. I felt so alone, everyone around me was having the time of their life and here I was bawling over a boy. A boy that wanted to marry me.

I just stood there as the show went on after a song or two Alex had realized that there was something wrong with me and motioned for us to leave the pit. Making our way through the crowd Alex held my hand. At first, it was so we didn't get separated then later it was his was of letting my know that I wasn't alone

After leaving the pit Alex asked what was wrong. I told him that I was just really tired from driving and I panicked because there were so many people around. I hated to lie to him but I didn't want him to know that the girl Vic was talking about was me. "Well let's go get you some water then That will give us enough time to get in line for the surprise.
