I panicked. Jeremy broke his foot on the North American tour and had to take it easy for a bit. Hopefully he was okay. Vic pulles me along quickly. His grip on my hand was becoming painfully tight. I got fed up and pulled out of his grip. "What is going on Vic" I demanded, stopping on the spot. He groaned and turned around. "Hayley, this is not the time" He said going to grab my hand again. I pulled away and folded my arms across my chest. "Not until you tell me what's going on okay?" He groaned at me. "Fine, Jeremy fell off a stage. Him and Jaime decided to go play a prank on Jack Barakat and it backfired. He fell offstage and his leg is totally fucked. He can't even walk properly. Especially since he has already broken it like 4 months ago so that's what's going on Hayley, you're best friend needs you" He said, saddness filled his eyes.

I grabbed his hand so quickly and ran. Tears streamed down my face and I feared the worst. Vic had trouble keeping up with me but we eventually made it back to the stages. We seen a sign pointing to main stage and we pushed through all the people. I seen paramedics and many people crowded around Jeremy. I pushed my way to the barrier and climbed over it. Vic was right behind me and we ran to Jeremy. He looked like he was in so much pain. The tears were falling down my face and I ran up to him. "Miss you can't be here, step back" Some paramedic said to me. "Hey, he's my best friend. I'll be here okay" I shouted in his face. Jeremy looked up and smiled. "Hayley" He said, the pain showing in his voice. I grabbed his hand and he smiled. "Hey man you gotta stop hurting yourself on tour" I smiled through my tears. "Hey, kid don't cry. I'll be okay. Now go on, find someone to replace me tonight. We can't cancel the show, it's not our thing" He said grabbing my hand. "I don't want you being alone" I sighed. "Kat's flying over. She'll be here in a few hours so don't worry okay. I'll text you" He squeezed my hand. I nodded and the paramedic took him away.

I sighed and turned around to Vic. He had decided to sign autographs for people to distract the crowd. I looked at him and he said bye to people. He looked at me and seen me crying. He pulled me in for a hug and said "It's okay, don't worry about it" He said soothingly and we started to walk out of the pit. As we were walking some guy shouted. "What a slut Hayley, cheating on Mike with his own brother" I didn't get time to react. It all happened so fast. I seen Vic just stop dead in his tracks and punch the guy in the face. Security came along and pulled Vic away from this guy and dragged him away. "Hey don't touch him, that guy was asking for it" I shouted at the guys taking Vic away. "Hey princess don't try and defend him against assaulting someone. Now run along and fix your make-up" One of the guys said laughing. I sighed and then the guy who Vic punched laughed. I looked at him and he had blood pouring from his nose. I turned to face him and he grinned at me. "You know, you wont get by in life by bringing other people down. You're a coward" I said turning and walking away to find where they took Vic.

I searched all the backstage areas. I had no idea where they had taken him. I ran into Mike. "Have you seen Vic?" I asked him franticly. "No why?" He asked confused. "He punched a guy for saying something bad to me and security have taken him away somewhere" I sighed. "Hey don't worry, we'll find him" He hugged me. "Thanks Mike" I smiled. We both went to look for him and we found the Pierce the Veil guitar tech. "Hey, you seen Vic?" Mike asked him. "Aw man, he got took away with security, they took him to like "Warped Jail" man" the guy said. "Warped Jail?" I questioned. "Yeah it's like a cupboard basically that security put people in if the have been causing trouble and are in a band or apart of crew, they can't kick them out so they gotta show them a lesson" the guy said. "Where is it?" Mike asked quickly. "Behind the main stage" The guy pointed. I seen the building near the mainstage and thanked this guy. Mike ran after me and we finally got "Warped Jail". He went and spoke to the security guard and I waited patiently. Mike came back over and smiled. "You can go in" He said, motioning to the door. I nodded and walked over to the door. I sighed and turned the handle. I walked in and Vic was sitting on the floor with his back to the door.

"I said not to come back unless you're letting me out of here" Vic said sternly. "I guess I'll come back later" I said softly. He stood up quickly and turned around. He didn't say anything. I walked over to him and hugged him. "Don't punch people on account of me again Vic. He was an asshole, don't stoop to his level" I said into his chest. He pulled back to look at me. "No man should ever talk to a girl like that. Especially when it's one of my best friends" He said sincerely. I couldn't help but smile. He looked into my eyes and I could feel him get closer. Our lips connected and it was sweet. Like it was the most perfect thing in the world. He put his hands behind my neck and pulled me closer to me as he deepened the kiss. My heart was beating so fast. I could hear it so clearly, as if it was outside of my chest. I kissed him back and placed my hands on his chest. His heart was beating so fast too. He pushed me against the wall and kissed me harder. He trailed kisses down my jawline and onto my neck. I closed my eyes and moaned softly. Suddenly the door opened and we tore away from each other as Mike walked in. "Come on losers, keep it PG til we get to the bus" He smirked and Vic flipped him off.

"So the kid isn't going to press charges. You're lucky" Mike said as we reached their bus. "I wouldn't care if he did. No one talks to Hayley like that" He said firmly. "I know, I'd of done the same" Mike smiled and walked on the bus. I smiled at Vic and he smiled back. "So what's happening with your show?" He asked. "I don't know we need to find someone who can fill in on bass" I said. He nodded and we walked onto the PTV bus. "Guys Hayley needs someone to fill in bass for Jeremy tonight" Vic said to Jaime, Mike and Tony. "What about Jaime" Tony said looking at Jaime. "I would be I don't know many Paramore songs that they're playing" He said sadly. "It's okay Jaime" I smiled and patted his hair. "Tony?" Jaime said looking at Tony. "My bass skills suck" He said and bowed his head. "Vic?" Mike said with a smirk. Vic looked over at us from where he was playing with his guitar. "What?" He asked. "Yeah, you know a lot of Paramore... they were like you're secret obsession" Jaime grinned at Vic. "Shut it Jaime" He looked over at me and I nodded. "We need the help" I said biting my lip. "Okay, I'll do it" He smiled. I walked over and hugged him. "Okay we are on at 8:45. Gotta be back stage for 8 so we can warm up and shit" He nodded. "I gotta go, I'll see you at your own set" I smiled and ran out.

It was 8:40 and Vic still had no showed up. I was getting impatient. Don't let me down Vic. I prayed. 8:43 came and me and Taylor were standing sidestage ready to run on and play Moving on.

"And besides I'm moving on" I sang out to the crowd. The intro to Misery Business started and I looked to my right and seen Vic run out with Jaimes bass. I smiled. He made it. "I'm in the business of misery, let's take it from the top. She's got a body like an hourglass that's ticking like a clock. It's a matter of time before we all run out, when I thought he was mine she caught him by the mouth. I waited eight long months, she finally set him free. I told him I couldn't lie, he was the only one for me, two weeks and we had caught on fire, she's got it out for me but I wear the biggest smile" I sung to the audience. The song continued and it ended. I got the mic stand and put my mic in it. "So how y'all feeling tonight?" I shouted into the mic. Cheers exploded everywhere. "Good, good" i put my hands on the mic and looked at the crowd. "So I bet y'all are wondering what this guys doing here?" I said pointing to Vic. Cheers and screams of 'Vic' came at us. "Well Jeremy had a little accident today. Him and Jaime from Pierce the Veil decided to play a little prank on Jack Barakat" I said pulling the mic out of the stand and wondering over to Vic. "So the prank didn't go well and Jerm fell off the stage. He's okay just hurt his leg again and for those who went to our North American tour will know he broke his leg" I stopped and looked at the crowd. "So he isn't here tonight and we are very sorry, he'll be back soon we hope but in the mean time. Give it up for... VIC FUENTES" I screamed into the microphone and leaned my arm on his shoulder. "Hey guys. Hope I can keep up with these guys" Vic said into my mic. The crowd cheered and screamed. "Bring it Fuentes" I grinned as I walked back over to the mic stand. I placed the mic back into the stand and closed my eyes.

"So for those of you who just haven't heard. Who maybe only started listening to music yesterday and got dragged here with a friend or simply forgot. We. Are. PARA..." MORE the crowd finished the word. I loved that. My face couldn't stop smiling. I looked at Vic and he grinned. I walked closer to the mic and closed my eyes. "Whenever I get there it wont be far enough, I'm a renegade it's in my blood. If ever I get there it wont be fast enough. I'm a renegede I always was" I sang my heart out. The music kicked in and I began dancing. "The grass wasn't green enough here, after watching it with my tears. I'm not sure where you went, now we are just past tense" I sang. I pointed out to the crowd and sang my heart out.

More songs passed and it finally got to Ain't It Fun. I was curious to see how Vic would handle this as it was bass heavy for Paramores usual standard. "I don't mind, taking it easy but just give it time. If it don't hurt now, well just wait awhile" I looked at Vic and winked at him. "You're not the big fish in the pond no more. You are what they're feeding on" I walked over to Taylor and high fived him. "So what are you gonna do, when the world don't orbit around you?" I walked over to Vic. "So what are you gonna do when the world don't orbit around you?" I grinned at him and he followed me to the Paramore box. "Ain't it fun, living in the real world. Ain't it good, being all alone" He stood on the box beside me and I grinned. I pushed him backwards and he pretended to fall down. I just continued singing. The song continued and as soon it got to Jeremys bass solo of the song, I pulled Vic over and pushed him on the box. He showed off, big time. He posed and played like it was his own creation. I was so happy he done this for Jeremy, he would be proud. I danced around and sung until the end of the set.

We all walked offstage and Jaime, Tony and Mike were all waiting for us. "Bro you done great" Mike grinned and hugged Vic. "Thanks... I really enjoyed that. Was different but great" I smiled and hugged him. "We got a backup for when Jeremy gets clumsy" Taylor laughed and patted Vics back. We all chatted and made our way to our buses. We had to get hitting the road, our next show was in Oregon so we had to get going. We said our goodbyes and got on our buses. I got changed into pyjamas and climbed into bed. I checked twitter and tumblr on my laptop for awhile and then decided it was time for sleep. I checked my phoned and had a text from Vic.

'Thanks for letting me fill in for Jeremy, I hope he's okay and will be back soon. Actually performing with you is more fun than watching you. Talented girl that you are. Sweet dreams Hayles xo' I smiled uncontrollably and replied to him. 'Thanks Victor. You owned that stage tonight man. Truly impressed me. See ya tomorrow :) xo'

And with that, I fell asleep quickly and with a massive smile on my face.
