The crowd went crazy as King for a Day played out. Kellin looked over to see Hayley, checking if she was enjoying herself but he didn't see her anymore. He got closer and noticed she was unconcious and people were grabbing at her. Vic looked at Kellin and then Hayleys direction and noticed. He pulled his guitar off of him and threw it to Kellin. They continued the song but Vic climbed off stage and leaned into the crowd to pull her out. He placed her over his shoulder then Kellin pulles him onstage. Vic ran over to the side of the stage and down into the first aid area. Frantically he placed her down on the bed and waited for a nurse to check her.
Hayleys P.O.V
My eyes fluttered open and everything was blurry. I groaned as a nurse started checking me out. She sat me up then I noticed Vic. I looked at him confused and he smiled at me. "You okay?" He asked softly. I nodded lightly then scrunched my face up at the pain. The nurae told me I was okay and left. Vic stood infront of me and looked down at my tanktop that was ripped up. "Shit" I sighed. He pulled his t-shirt off and pulled it over my head. I looked at him thankfully and took my ripped tanktop off. "Why did you wait? You're missing your set" I said quietly. "I had to make sure you were okay Hayley, Kellins filling in and keeping the crowd happy right now" He said looking back at the stage. I tried not to look at his chest but it was too inviting, he had a really good figure. "Well the fangirls are gonna thank me later" I said pointing to his chest. He just laughed. "I know, I'm pretty pissed at the crowd for that though" He sighed. "Don't, now go and finish your set Vic" I said standing up, I was unsteady at first but Vic held me up. "Thanks" I smiled. We both walked up to the stage. "Side stage okay" He warned me. I nodded and he ran onstage and the crowd screamed even more. I watched as Kellin walked offstage. "Hey, kid are you okay?" Kellin said as he gave me a hug. "Yeah, thank you" I smiled at him. "What happened?" I asked, confused. "I don't know, I looked at you and you were unconscious, Vic noticed and he just threw his guitar at me. He climbed off stage and just grabbed you. I helped him onstage and he ran off with you. I just finished King for a Day and then spoke to the crowd. I said to the guys who done this to you that it was not cool" Kellin explained. "Wow, I owe him big time..." I said feeling guilty. Kellin had to leave due to his set setting soon. Vic looked over and smiled at me. I waved back and waited patiently for the set to end.
Eventually they came offstage and the guys came and asked me how I was. "I'm okay guys. Don't worry about it" I smiled. Jaime attacked me with hugs and I laughed at how adorable he was. Vic smiled at me I smiled back. Tony asked to talk to me in private so we walked off together. "So what's up Turtle?" I asked. He raised an eyebrow. "I heard Vic calling you it once" I grinned. "Oh, well I allow you to use that name" He smiled. "And not much is up Hayley, just wanted to make sure you were okay" He smiled, patting my arm. "I am indeed, it was scary, I'll tell you that one but it's a Warped experience" I laughed. The silence between us was nice. Like a good friendship should be. "So Tony, you totally blew me away today" I grinned. "Really?" He asked, surprised. "I thought you were fantastic, I'll stick to side stage from now on though" I laughed. "Good, don't want ya hurt again. So are you excited for your set?" He asked curiously. "Yeah, very much so" I squealed like a little fangirl. He laughed at me and we finally got to the buses. "HAYLEY, WAIT UP" I heard from behind me and seen Vic running our way. "Yeah...?" I asked as he stopped infront of us. "You dropped your phone back there" He said handing me it. "Oh shit... thanks" I smiled and hugged him.
Just as we all started talking to each other my phone started ringing. I sighed and answered it. "Hello Chad" I said emotionlessly. "Hayley, what the hell happened to you? Are you stupid, going into a Pierce the Veil crowd! Why?" He demanded. "Um I'm pretty sure I don't need to tell you that..." I said angrily. "Hayley we may have split up but you don't need to be like this, I care" He sighed. "I don't need you to be protective over me" I said, groaning. "What about the guy who pulled you out of the crowd, who is he?" He questioned with jealously in his voice. Oh no. I looked at Vic who was trying to avoid looking at me. "He's my friend. He saved me. That's all you need to know now can you please leave me alone. I don't wanna meet up anymore, nothing left to discuss with you. The end is here for us. I will be your friend but that is all Chad. Okay I gotta go, we are on in 40 minutes and I gotta do my vocal warm ups. Bye" I said hanging up and not letting him finish. I pushed my phone into my pocket and sighed. "You okay?" Tony asked. I nodded. "Sorry guys, I gotta go get ready for the show" I said avoiding them.
I went onto my bus where Jeremy and Taylor were sitting. They quizzed me about what happened and I got angry and stormed off. I decided to wait backstage for the set to begin. It was 5 minutes before the show began I realised I was wearing Vics shirt. Oh, well. Taylor came up behind me and hugged me. I leaned onto him and sighed. I didn't like fighting with him. He was my best friend. Our cue to go onstage came and me and Taylor walked on with our ukulele and mic. I sang Moving On and we looked at each other happily. This felt good. We moved onto Misery business and so on. The set went fantastically and the crowd were happy. We got to 'Still Into You' and I suddenly felt sad about this song. It had a different meaning to me now. The last time I sung this live me and Chad were together. The confetti fell from the sky and I smiled as it brightened up the song for me. I looked to my right and seen the PTV guys all watching our set. I waved and continued the set until it ended. I thanked the crowd and we ran offstage.
We all hugged and high fived. What a show! I was on a high. We all went back to our bus and got ready for Of Mice & Mens party. I was psyched to finally get to chill. I put on some black skinny jeans and kept Vics shirt on still. It felt nice on me. We all walked over to the Pierce the Veil bus and waited for them. They came out and Vic seen me still wearing his shirt. "Still got that on, guess I'm never getting that back" He laughed. "Nope, mines now" I grinned. "Come on guys, let's go!" Jaime shouted at us. Party time...
