Misadventures

Now Go Back Home

Carolina's POV
One. More. Day. I couldn't stand it. I needed him. I needed to see them. My life has never been this boring and lifeless before! When I was with my mom it was more insults and complaints but now it's just me and Honey-Lemon, trying to do anything and everything to keep ourselves busy. I needed to do something, buy some bleach, for my whites, yes, that would work, it would keep me distracted for a while. I got dressed and got my purse ready when I got a call from Tony.
“Hello?” I said.
“We're coming home today!” He said with excitement.
“What?” I asked. “How?”
He explained how they had to cancel the show because of the weather so they would be coming back to San Diego today.
“Oh my gosh, I can't wait to see you! Where are you right now?” I asked, since the last place I saw him was in Arizona.
He told me he was in Nevada, just the next state over, so I'd see him in a few hours. I still had to buy bleach so I put Honey-Lemon in her crate and left for the store, and was sure to lock up. I was pretty scared leaving Honey-Lemon alone for the first time, but I hoped she would be okay. I got the bleach and some food to cook for the guys when they got home. When I got back to Tony's place I let Honey-Lemon out and he called me saying they were an hour away.
I was freaking out, what could I possibly make in an hour? I had to search thirty minute recipes, when I found the perfect thing to make, chicken quesadillas. I got all my ingredients and started making them. Honey-Lemon started barking as I made the last quesadilla, perfect timing.
“Is that daddy?” I asked in my baby voice.
I looked out the window and it was Tony and the guys.
“It is!” I said, opening the door, hugging them all.
“I missed all of you!” I said.
“We missed you too.” Vic said.
“Really?” I asked.
“Yeah, touring wasn't the same without you.” He replied.
I smiled.
“So, I made some chicken quesadillas if you guys are hungry.” I said.
“Oh, yeah!” Mike said, as they all headed to the kitchen.
They all got their own plates and sat down on the couch, all but Tony, he stayed in the kitchen. I asked him how he got the scratches and bruises.
“Oh, the fans sort of got a hold of me while I was trying to fix my amp.” He said, taking a bite out of his quesadilla.
“Do you want a bite?” He asked me.
“Oh, no, I couldn't-well if you insist.” I said, taking a huge bite out of it.
I told him I didn't eat today because I was so busy and excited.
“That shouldn't keep you from eating.” He said.
“I know.” I replied.
He gave me his second quesadilla, I made a smoothie and just to be kind I handed it to Vic, since he's been sort of nice to me lately.
“What's in that?” He asked.
“Lettuce, bananas-” He interrupted me as soon as I said 'bananas'.
“Oh, I can't have it, bananas make me bloat.” He said.
I had a straw in my hand and I put it in the glass and started drinking the smoothie.
“Guys, this isn't looking good.” Vic said, looking at his phone.
“What? What is it?” I asked.
“We're losing fans!” Vic replied.
“What? How?” I asked.
“Since we canceled the signing fans are super mad and saying they hate our music.” Vic said.
“That's horrible!” I said.
The guys were silent for a second.
“I have an idea.” I told them, as they all looked at me.

Tony's POV
When I woke up I walked into the front room, the guys were already awake and it was raining pretty hard outside.
“Damn, it's coming down.” I said.
“Yeah, I'm not sure if we can play.” Vic said, taking out his phone, I figured he was calling our manager.
When Vic got of the phone he said we could head back to San Diego today.
“Today?” I asked in excitement.
“Yes, Tony, today.” He said with a chuckle.
I had to call Carolina, when she answered I told her the good news.
“What? How?” She asked.
“Vic called our manager, he said because of the heavy rain we had to cancel the show and we could head back home.” I told her.
She was as excited as I was and asked me where I was.
“I'm in Nevada right now, I should be there in a few hours.” I told her.
After we hung up I started packing my things and took a shower and remembered the incident that happened there, when Carolina tried to cut herself, because we had just lost a baby. I started crying right there in the shower. I knew I was going to see her today, but waiting just a few hours, it was like waiting an eternity. After I was done with my shower I got out and I was done crying and I dried off then got dressed. When I went out into the front room the guys were asleep.
“Did you guys not get enough sleep last night?” I said out-loud.
They were crashed. I watched some TV for a while and fell asleep laying down on the couch, when I woke up I looked up and saw the blue sky out the window. The driver said we were about an hour away so I called Carolina.
“Hey.” She said.
“Hey, we're about an hour away now.” I told her.
“An hour? Really? Okay, I'll be ready.” She said.
An hour went by really quick, Jaime and I played a quick video game and he won, I never win at video games. We were dropped off at my place, and the guys were going to get cabs to their places. Honey-Lemon was pretty excited to see me, and the guys. I saw Carolina come up to the door and I almost cried tears of joy. When she opened the door we gave her a group hug. She said she made chicken quesadillas, I didn't think she had to do that, but I think she wanted to. We all went to the kitchen and the guys went to the front room with their food, but I didn't want to leave Carolina.
“How did you get all these scratches and bruises?” She asked me.
I thought she would freak out more, thinking I'd been beaten or something like that.
“The fans sort of got a hold of me while I was trying to fix my amp.” I told her.
We were silent for a moment until I offered her a bite of my quesadilla, which she couldn't resist. She told me she hadn't eaten all day because she was so excited, so I gave her my other quesadilla. She made a really healthy looking smoothie and offered it to Vic but he refused it saying that the banana in it would make him bloat.
“Seriously, Vic?” I thought to myself. “Since when do you care if something makes you bloat?”
Carolina started drinking the smoothie, when Vic said something didn't look good.
“What? What is it?” Carolina asked.
Vic explained we were losing fans because we didn't do the signing at the end of the concert.
“That's horrible!” Carolina said, taking a drink of the smoothie.
“I have an idea.” She said.

We all looked at her, wondering what idea she could have.
