There's Always Calm Before a Storm

I woke to hear yelling coming from the guest bathroom.
I rushed over to see what was wrong.
When I got there I saw Scarlett on the floor.
Her legs where covered in blood.
She cuts.
"Oh my god!" I gasped.
Her eyes looked so sad.
I hope I can help her.
"Why?" Vic questioned.
"Oh wow what can we do to help?" Jaime asked.
"You wanna know why she does this? She's another one of those cutting freaks. She's just going to use us then kill herself--" Mike ranted.
"Stop" Jaime yelled at Mike.
God why does Mike have to be such a jerk.
Scarlett is probably going through a lot.
She doesn't need Mike's shit.
"No he's right I'm going to kill myself. It'll be easier knowing that you don't care Mike." Scarlett cried.
Mike blanched,
"I--I didn't--I'm--please---"
"Come on I think we should talk." Vic lead Mike out of the room.
"Yeah, I need to talk to Mike. Tony take care of Scarlett." Jaime said looking pretty pissed.
I got some bandages and disinfectant.
Slowly I picked her up and cleaned of my cuts.
I felt her lean into my chest.
She quietly sobbed.
I didn't know what to say.
Then I noticed her cuts wouldn't stop bleeding.
"We might have to take you to the hospital" I spoke into the silence.
"No, its find they'll stop bleeding eventually. I just need to wrap them" She responded trying to grab the bandages from me.
"I've got it"
I don't want her to feel alone.
Scarlett deserves to be taken care of.
And as her new friend that is exactly what I'll do
I gently wrapped the bandages around her thighs and helped her put her shorts on.
I tried to be gentle.
I didn't want to put her in any more pain
Then I picked me up and carried her into the den.
"Why?" I quietly whispered to her.
"I deserve this. I'm fat and ugly and worthless. I'm a waste of your time" Scarlett tried to convince me.
No no no.
I can't believe she thinks that about herself.
She's so amazing and sweet.
She doesn't deserve this.
"I'm sorry," she muttered.
"You're amazing Scarlett. I know you're hurting but this isn't going to help. Whenever you feel like this tell me. And I'll help you."
I will always be there for her.
"ok. Tony I think I'm going to pass out." she murmured.
"Should I call an ambulance?"
I started to panic.
I had no idea what to do.
"No, no I'll be fine"
Then she passed out.
"Um Vic, Jaime" I called out.
They came over.
"What's wrong?" Jaime looked really concerned.
"Scarlett said she was going to pass out. Then she passed out. But she said don't call an ambulance. I don't know what to do. I'm kinda freaking out!!!" I panicked.
"Ok first breathe. She'll be ok. If she doesn't want us to call and ambulance then we won't." Vic consoled.
"If she's not awake in 2 hours then we call an ambulance" Jaime compromised.
Then Mike rushed in to the room.
"Is she ok? She looks pale. I messed up guys I'm so sorry" Mike cried.
Ugh I'm so fucking tired of Mike right now.
"Mike you need to get out the room. I doubt Scarlett wants to see you when she wakes up. Don't worry she'll be fine."
I coldly said.
"Oh ok. Um I'm really sorry"
Mike looked to the ground.
"It's not us you need to apologize to." Vic glared at him.
Mike sighed and walked out of the room.
"We should try to make Scarlett something to eat" Jaime suggested.
"PANCAKES!!!!" Vic yelled excitedly.
"YASS"
I watched them run to the kitchen.
This is going to go badly.
They can be such children sometimes, but I love them.
I got up and got Scarlett a blanket and her phone.
Sitting down next to her I stroked her hair.
"Everything will get better, I promise"
*Time skip 1 hour*
Scarlett~
I woke up to the sounds of pots banging.
What the hell is going on?
As I opened my eyes I was greeted by Tony.
"Finally you're awake sleeping beauty" He joked.
"Some of us need beauty sleep you know" I smiled.
"Um why does it sound like someones being murdered" I questioned.
"Oh Vic and Jaime have been try to cook something for you....for the past hour" he explained.
"Wait I was out for an hour?!?"
Tony nodded.
"Scarlett you're my friend so I want you to know I care about you. I don't want you to feel like your alone. Please tell me or one of the other guys if something is wrong.
"Ok" I lied.
I doubt he actually cares about.
He just doesn't want to feel guilty when I kill myself.
Hold on that's not true.
Tony cares.
I think.
I don't know my head can't make sense of anything.
"You want to see how the cooking is going" I laughed.
"Hmmm I don't know seems really risky" Tony smiled.
"That's ok I'll just use you as a human shield"
Tony gasped and feigned offense.
"How dare you?" He joked.
I picked up my phone and stood up.
I felt a bit light headed still.
"Turn around you're giving me a piggy back ride" I commanded Tony.
"Only if you ask nicely" he grinned.
"Pwetty Pwease Tony. You'll be my favoritist band member ever" I asked nicely.
"Of course milady. To the dangerous kitchen" he announced.
I hopped onto Tony's back and we made our way to the perilous kitchen.
When we got there it was a mess.
Vic and Jaime were covered in flour.
The kitchen was covered in flour.
There were burnt pancakes everywhere.
"Oh my god what have you guys done?" I laughed shocked by the mess.
"We're cooking for you!" Vic announced.
"We're amazing cooks by the way" Jaime beamed at me.
"I'm scared" I chuckled.
"So am I" Tony agreed.
"Put me down," I whispered in Tony's ear.
"Mmmkkk"
Tony gently set me down.
I decided to check my phone.
I saw more text from Josh.
"It's later now.
Call me.
I swear Scarlett call me this instant.
I'm really worried.
Please just call me"
Crap I should probably call him.
"Ok I have to go call my friend and explain everything to him. I'll leave you to your cooking Misadventures." I said.
"Wait hold up. Did you just use our new album as a pun" Vic cried in outrage.
"Why yes I did. It was very punny wasn't it."
"Stop just stop" Jaime commanded.
Being a little sister I couldn't stop.
"What's wrong Besitos? Don't like my puns" I goaded.
"Stop turning my songs into puns" Vic whined.
"I think it puntacular" Mike smiled at me.
I hadn't even seen him.
Oh well I won't let him ruin this moment.
"Don't encourage her" Jaime glared.
"I've caught the pun disease" I laughed.
"I Don't Care If You're Puntagious" Mike played along.
"Oh no the puns are so horrible" Tony dramatically collapsed to the floor.
We all started laughing.
The Jaime stopped and said,
"But seriously stop with the puns. They're bad sis."
"Make me" I dared him.
Jaime got this mischievous look in his eyes.
"Ok you asked for this"
I got up and ran.
Jaime chased me and inevitably caught me.
Then he started tickling me.
"Ok ok you win!!! I can't breathe stop tickling me" I choked out.
"NO more puns" Jaime questioned.
"I won't be punny anymore" I promised.
Jaime glared at me.
"I think we just had a sibling moment" I laughed.
"Yeah we did" he smiled.
"Awe look at the brother sister duo" Tony cooed.
"SO adorable" Vic smiled.
"Just like family" Mike interjected.
I looked at him and thought about what he said.
Moment officially ruined.
"Um ok I have to go call my bestie" I stated.
I got up and walked to the guest bedroom.
I called Josh.
"Thank for finally calling" Josh sarcastically said.
"Sorry about that" I apologized.
"Ugh it's ok you know I can't stay mad at you."
I then explained everything that happened.
"So you might be related to the Jaime from the Pierce the Veil!!!!!" Josh shrieked.
"You have to introduce me to them" He demanded.
"I will sometime, but I'm not sure when." I promised.
"Fine" he grumbled.
"I should probably get going. Love ya!" I said
"Bye, expect you to at least text me tomorrow. Love ya to." He responded.
I walked back out to the kitchen to find Tony cooking.
"Here ya go. Pancakes and bacon" Tony handed me a plate.
"Thanks. What happened to being a master chef Jaime? I joked.
"Whatever" Jaime replied with a smile.
"So um we can get our DNA tested later on today. Do you want to?" He asked, he looked so nervous.
"Of course" I smiled, "When's the appointment."
"Um don't be mad. It's in 15 minutes"
"Well then let's get going."
Me and all the guys hopped into the car and rushed to the DNA testing place.
I really hope Jaime and I are related.
