There's Always Calm Before a Storm

Scarlett~
I woke up to find Mike's arms tightly wrapped around my waist.
I'm so glad that we're friends.
I slowly slipped out of his arms to avoid waking him up.
I checked my phone go find a bunch of text from my best friend Josh.
"Scarlett why didn't you call me?
We were supposed to meet today!!!!
Is everything ok?
Please text me back whenever you get the chance"
Crap I was supposed to hang out with him yesterday.
Everything just got so out of hand and I completely forgot.
I quickly sent Josh a text,
"Hey, I'm so sorry somethings happened. I left Spencer and I'm staying with some friends. I'll call you later and explain everything."
I found my suitcase and got some clothes and my "friends".
I know I shouldn't cut but I need to.
I found the bathroom attached to the bedroom.
I took a hot shower and
washed my hair.
After I dried off and put my shirt, bra, and underwear on.
Slowly I sank to the ground.
God, why am I such a freak.
"Just a couple of cuts" I slowly whispered.
But two cuts turned into 5.
And 5 to 10.
And 10 to 15.
And so on.
I know I shouldn't cut.
I know that things are actually ok in my life for once.
But I need to feel the pain.
The first cut hurt the most.
But the rest just felt good.
I felt the blade cut into my skin.
I saw the blood start to poor.
The sad thing is that I kinda enjoyed it.
Before I know it my thighs were soaked in blood.
I hear Mike knock the door.
Crap!
"Are you ok in there?" he questioned.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine," I lied.
"I know you're lying" he barged into the bathroom.
He gasped.
"Why? What the fuck is wrong with you?" He yelled while struggling to get the blade out of my hand.
"No, I shrieked, I need that"
"I can't let you do this" Mike looked at me with utter disgust.
The noise caused the other guys to rush over.
When they saw me they just stared.
At me red tear stained eyes and blood covered thighs.
"Oh my god!" Tony gasped.
"Why?" Vic questioned.
"Oh wow what can we do to help?" Jaime asked.
"You wanna know why she does this? She's another one of those cutting freaks. She's just going to use us then kill herself--" Mike ranted.
"Stop" Jaime yelled at Mike.
"No he's right I'm going to kill myself. It'll be easier knowing that you don't care Mike." I cried.
Mike blanched,
"I--I didn't--I'm--please---"
"Come on I think we should talk." Vic lead Mike out of the room.
"Yeah, I need to talk to Mike. Tony take care of Scarlett." Jaime said looking pretty pissed.
Tony got some bandages and disinfectant.
Slowly he picked me up and cleaned of my cuts.
But they wouldn't stop bleeding.
"We might have to take you to the hospital" Tong spoke into the silence.
"No, its find they'll stop bleeding eventually. I just need to wrap them" I responded trying to take the bandages from him.
"I've got it"
He wrapped my thighs and helped me slip my shorts on.
Then Tony picked me up and carried me into what I assumed was the den.
"Why?" He whispered.
"I deserve this. I'm fat and ugly and worthless. I'm a waste of your time" I tried to explain.
Tony look at me with sad eyes.
"I'm sorry," I muttered.
"You're amazing Scarlett. I know you're hurting but this isn't going to help. Whenever you feel like this tell me. And I'll help you."
"ok. Tony I think I'm going to pass out." I murmured.
"Should I call an ambulance?" he frantically asked.
"No, no I'll be fine"
I started to see black spots.
Then they consumed my sight.
Why am I so fucked up?
Mike~
I fucked up.
Why did I have to say that?
Scarlett's response killed me.
I don't want her to kill herself.
"Mike get your shit together" Vic yelled.
"Stop being an ass to Scarlett" Jaime shrieked.
"She was happy about being your friend," Vic continued.
"I swear if you keep doing shit like this I will beat your ass." Jaime threatened.
"I'm so sorry. I don't know why I did that."
I felt tears to stream down my face.
I have to find a way to fix this.
