There's Always Calm Before a Storm

Tony~
Mike decided to be an ass again.
But this time he took it to far.
Scarlett came down stairs holding Justin's hand
Alex of course had something to say about it.
“Oooo did you to get together?” Alex asked like a teenage girl.
“Haha nope we watched Steven Universe instead, very romantic.” Justin answered with a smile.
Scarlett looked up at him and smiled.
“Don’t act like you didn’t have sex. I saw you two last night.” Mike muttered.
“What?!? Mind your own damn business. What you saw was us kissing. I didn’t want to have sex so we didn’t”
Scarlett glared at Mike
“Whatever you say darling” Mike snarled.
“Fuck you” She said flipping off.
“You fucked Justin not me remember.”
He continued to push her.
I don't know what his problem is.
“Damn” I heard Kellin whisper.
Everyone had gotten very quiet.
Jaime looked like he was deciding on whether to hit Mike or Justin.
“Why are you always such an ass. Grow a pair already. Stopping being a little pouty baby every time you fuck something up!” Scarlett yelled throwing my hands up in the air.
Wow.
Scarlett isn't the kind of person you'd expect to really get angry or yell.
She's always so passive.
“Are you on your period or something because you’re over reacting. Or is it because you’re a little cutting whore. Who's stupid enough to get in an abusive relationship.” He sneered.
Everyone gasped.
I can't believe Mike said that.
I could see Mike slowly realize what a horrible person he is.
“I-I’m so sorry” he whispered.
“I wish I had never met you” Scarlett replied.
She ran into her room without looking at anyone.
"What in the actual fuck is wrong with you Mike?" Justin yelled.
"Why did you do that" Jaime muttered.
"I'm sorry I don't know what got into me. I was just feeling jealous."
"You where feeling jealous. The guy who asked her out even though he has a girlfriend"Jaime screamed.
"She wanted to be with me Mike. Not you. You already missed your chance." Justin sneered.
"I'm sorry" was all Mike could say.
"Sorry isn't going to fix this." I said coldly.
I went up stairs to check on Scarlett.
I knocked on the door.
Silence.
"Scarlett let me in. I'm worried about you. Are you okay?"
Silence again.
Then I heard shuffling.
But Scarlett wasn't answering.
"Open the door, please. I'm really worried about you Scarlett."
Still no answer.
But she seemed to be moving around a lot.
"Jaime I need the key to Scarlett's room" I yelled.
Immediately he found it and rushed up stairs.
"Is everything okay?" Jaime asked concerned.
"I don't know I keep talking to her, but she isn't responding."
We opened the door to find the room empty.
Her window was open.
On her bed there was a note.
It said,
“I’m really sorry guys, but I can’t do this anymore. This week has been the best week of my life. But nothing last forever. Trust me your lives will be a hundred times better without me around. Just forget I ever existed. ~Love Scarlett.
Oh no.
"No, no, no" Jaime cried out.
Causing everyone down stairs to rush up here.
"Where's Scarlett?" Josh asked confused.
He only had boxers on and Jack's arm was wrapped around him.
Don't have time to figure that out.
Shakily I read Scarlett's note.
"We have to go find her." Josh muttered with determination.
"Where could she be. She doesn't know her way around this side of town." Justin asked.
"We passed by this forest today when I picked her up from work. She could be there."
"Come on what are we waiting for we have to go find her." Mike suddenly interjected.
I pushed past him and rushed out of the house.
Mike~
"I wish I had never met you."
Scarlett's words echoed through my head.
This is all my fault.
I have to find her.
I have to fix this.
Tony lead everyone to the forest.
We all split up and went looking for Scarlett.
"Scarlett, Scarlett where are you?"
And then I saw her.
Standing at the edge of cliff arms held out.
I yelled her name.
She didn't respond.
I ran forward and was able to catch her before she jumped.
Her head softly landed on my chest.
Her eyes opened but they seemed unfocused.
I whispered to her,
“Stay with me Scarlett. You can’t die on me.”
I saw an empty pill bottle.
Her wrist where torn up.
Blood was gushing out of them.
Her face was quickly losing color.
Oh my god there's so much blood.
I urgently called 9-1-1 and told them where we were.
Then I quickly sent a text to Tony telling him I found her.
And that I was bringing Scarlett to the edge of the forest.
“I’m gonna carry you to the edge of the forest so the ambulance can see us”
I lifted her off the ground.
I noticed her eyes starting to close.
“No no no stay awake Scarlett.”
I begged.
I started sobbing.
Her eyes shut.
I gently shook her and yelled,
“Wake up!!! The ambulance is here you just have to hold on.”
The ambulance pulled up just as everyone was running out of the forest.
The paramedics took her out of my arms and laid her on the stretcher.
"Only one person is allowed in the ambulance with her," one of the paramedics announced.
"I'll go with her, I'm her brother" Jaime responded.
"We'll meet you at the hospital" Tony said.
This wasn't beautifully tragic like fan-fiction or movies.
It was watching her body shaking uncontrollably.
As blood was flowing out of her wrist.
It was blood getting everywhere.
On my clothes,
On her clothes.
It was mangled cuts.
Horizontal,
Vertical,
and
Diagonal.
It was seeing her empty eyes.
Watching the ambulance pull away.
Hoping she would survive.
Jaime~
I hoped in the ambulance.
Scarlett's body looked so life less.
The paramedics where trying to stop the bleeding and pump her stomach.
They hooked her up to a temporary monitor.
Then her hear beats began to slow.
The paramedics got the defibrillator out and prepared for the worst.
Then monitor stopped beating.
This can't be happening, I thought.
