The All Nighter
Chapter 8
~Carter POV~
He loves me I thought. Just the thought of someone as heartless as those in "The Veil" saying those words came as a shock. I mean what kind of a sick joke is this.
" Wait is this some kind of joke.. Are your friends hidding somewhere just waiting for me to believe you... Did you think I'll just fall in love with you after all that have you done to me.. To my friends." I said holding back the tears that where threatning to come out yet again.
" No I swear this is true please just give me a chance to prove to you that I'm not that person I look like I am. Please give me a chance to love you and to show you that I love you." He said practically begging.
" Please do you really think I'm that stupid. I've always thought about today meeting you once again.. God im such a naive dumbass thinking that seening would would bring me my happily ever after." I told him in tears. Man do I really hate school now. I got up and ran away from my locker to a place where he can never find me. I ran faster than I've ever ran and hid inside the music room and locked to doors. Only something like this could happen to me.
Not long after, I heared heavy footsteps running through the halls. Suddenly they stopped and the doorknob twisted and turned. I held my breath hoping he wouldn't hear me for a couple of seconds it was quite and the footsteeps started again.
"Carter!! Answer please we need to talk please hear me out.. where are you!!" The echos rang out through the empy halls and the farther he got the quitter it got. Until they stopped and I let out a sigh of relief.
Why is this happening to me? Why did i come i should have just stayed home with the girls. Oh man the girls they are going to worry when i dont go home.
Omg I have to pee. 'Shit' I though, with all that running I forgot I had to go to the restroom. I unlocked the door slowly and looked up and down the halls making sure there was no sign of Tony and made a run for the bathroom. After relieving myself of the emergency I made a run for the music room yet again and locked the door again. I made my way towards the window in hopes of seeing someone but no luck.
"Don't run" i hear behind me as a pair of strong arms wrapped around me.
