The unwanted dreams
~Aria's POV~
"Wake up" i felt a slow shaking sensation on my shoulder. Slowly opening my eyes I thought back into the previous night. "well hello there..." He whispered into my ear as he hovered over my body. A voice so evil yet that voice was one that once told me sweet nothings everyday.
"You thought putting me behind bars will make me stop loving you...". I looked over and notice there was no one next to me. The tall figure said slowly pacing back and forth patting the knife to his chest slowly letting out that laugh I once used to love but now dreaded. "I told you what would happen if you ever told anyone about what happened you know what I'm capable of I destroyed your and i can destroy you"
"Leave my parents out of this they found out because they saw you I didn't tell them."
I was slowly crawling out of bed making my way to the door. He turned around and I looked around and saw it was my room...the room I once shared with my perfectly dysfunctional family
The man that I thought would keep the monsters away but instead became the monster that still haunts me in my nightmares. " you know I know you're trying to escape but I promise you that you don't want to open that door, because if you do you'll regret it I promise you that... Now let's get down to business shall we." He said turning around wickedly smiling. He threw me down and tried to pinned me down but he forgot I took a self defense class while he was working long nights as a cop. I went along and kneed his area and as he moved to his side trying to protect himself I kicked the knife over to me and took it in my hand and made a run for it. Immediately regretting it because what i found on the other side is what has kept me up on those long nights. I stopped dead in my tracks and saw my mom and dad lay there in their pool of blood lifeless and emotionless on the bed, new bed my sister and i saved up for for years for their 25 year of marriage, drenched in their blood. The blood splattered all over the walls I felt my knees grow weak and I gave in and fell remembering about my sister and ran to her room but was found with and empty hall with the walls quickly closing in on me.
That was when I felt a my shoulders being shaken once again and realized it was a dream and saw a worried face peering into my eyes as if I were crazy.
