They met because of their similar taste in men and now it's making them drift apart. Naira and Maya have met over the internet nine years ago and have been best friends since then. When Naira gets offered a job in San Diego, she moves there and temporary lives with Maya. But she doesn't really seem to get along well with Maya's new rock star friends. That one bassist that keeps flirting with her definitely creeps her out.

Jaime Preciado
29 years old. Bassist of Pierce the Veil and one of Maya's best friends. He has a special bond with Maya and is immediately intrigued by Naira.
Maya Milton
25 years old. Works as a personal assistent at a concert venue in San Diego. That's how she met the guys of Pierce the Veil. They became the closest she has to best friend and hang out a lot. 23 years of age. Is an aspiring elementary school teacher and loves working with children. Her job is actually the reason why she finally gets to meet her best friend, Maya. She is neither an introvert nor an extrovert, and enjoys the small things more than the big ones. Has some problems, but is generally an average girl, even though she can be a bit of a spaz.
