Dead.

I at that moment didn't know what to do. Dead. I had killed someone, I didn't mean to, but I was just defending myself, but who would believe that? I suffer from severe anger issues and they'd use that against me, I can't get the police involved. I ran back to the classroom, just making sure I didn't leave any evidence behind for when someone realized that the lifeless body lying at the bottom of the stairs belonged to Mr. Dawber.

I walked out of the building, making sure to look down and cover my face properly, I didn't want anyone looking at me and becoming a witness. I took my phone out and quickly dialed Tony, he had picked up on the first ring. "Hey Sky-"

"Tony! Please, I need you to come pick me up this very instant! Please, please please!" I was starting to choke up, I wanted to cry, I was so phased by what had just happened.

"Woah, Skye, what's wrong?" He sounded worried, but I had no time to explain.

"Tony! Please, don't ask questions, I'll explain later, please! Just pick me up!" I was screaming through my cries at this point, I couldn't handle being close to the building, I just wanted to leave, I wanted to get comforted by Tony.

Ten minutes passed and Tony was pulling up to the front of the school, I quickly ran and opened the door to the passenger seat. "Skye! What happened? Why are your tights ripped up like that? Why are you crying?" I tried to speak, but I could just manage to make choking noises. Tony pulled me into a hug and kisses me on the cheek, that helped me calm a bit down, not too much though. "We'll pick up food and then we'll go to your place and-"

"No! We can't go to my place! I can't spend time there anymore! Please, help me pack my things! I need to leave that place. Do you think I can spend a few nights with you and while I look for a new place?" I cut him out, looking at him wide eyed. My breathing was getting heavier by the second.

"Umm...sure, but Skye, what happened? Why are you so paranoid?" He looked down, I hadn't realized I was squeezing his arm really hard. I let go, leaving an imprint of my hand on him.

"Right now isn't the time or place to talk. Just take me to my place, help me pack up, and then I'll explain when we're at your house." Tony set his arm on my thigh, moving his thumb from side to side, trying to comfort me the best he could. He gave me a smile, a smile that warmed me inside. I laid my hand on top of his and forced a smile, but I couldn't smile, not after killing.

"That's the last of it." Tony walked in with the final box, using his foot to close the door behind him. I walked over to his dinning room and sat at the table. "Okay Skye, are you going to tell me, why you've been acting so strange since I picked you up?" My smile faded. I looked down and started fidgeting. "Skye..." Tony reached out his hand and grabbed mine. "Whatever it is, I'm here for you, okay? You can trust me." He tried smiling, I could tell it was a forced smile, deep down he was worried. I nodded.

"Okay." I closed my eyes, bobbing my head down, taking in a deep breath and then exhaling. "I killed my teacher."

"What!?" Tony let go of my hands, I had never felt so alone, nor rejected. "Skye! Who'd you kill? Why!?"

"He was going to rape me!" I slammed my hands on the table and stood up, my eyes filling up with tears, causing everything to go blurry. "Mr. Dawber! That sick bastard. He was going to rape me! He told me to stay after, he did that, and me being the stupid girl I am, I did. He gave me a box of chocolates and told me he liked me, and he then locked us both in the room, I tried to run but he tackled me to the floor and handcuffed me! I ran! I ran down the stairs and he chased after me, and I hit him, and then shoved him down the stairs! I watched his body turn and flop and come to a stop. I walked down to see, and once I reached him...he...he was...dead." Tony took a big step towards me, I fell to my knees, Tony falling with me, with his arms around me. "I couldn't call the police, they'll know I suffered from anger issues, and use that against me! I can't get the police involved. Tony, help me!" He lifted my chin up, we both looked into each other's eyes, I wanted to look away, but I couldn't.

"I'll help you Skye, quit your job, quit school. I'll help you, you'll live here with me, and I'll look after you." I felt a bit more relieved.

"Tony, I don't want to become a burden. I'm quitting my job, but I'm changing schools. I'm changing my name. I'll find a different job, to leave your place as soon as possible." He pulled me into a hug.

"You're a strong girl, Skye. Now come." He got up and helped me to my feet. "How about, you go take a shower, I'll go pick us up some food, and I'll let you sleep on my bed and I'll sleep in the guest room." I nodded. Tony pulled my arm, leading me upstairs to the bathroom. "Well your clothes are down stairs in the boxes, and this is the bathroom. Take your time. And I have a fireplace, for if you want to burn the clothes you have on now." He paused, his hand making it's way to my face, his thumb caressed my cheek, wiping my tears away. "I care about you." He gave me a kiss on the forehead,"I'll be back soon." He smiled and gave me another kiss, this time on the cheek. I heard him run down the stairs, grab his keys and leave. I was alone. I walked down stairs, closing and locking every door and window, closing every blind and curtain, not wanting to get Tony involved, but I already had, his life and career were at risk too. I grabbed some shirts and a crop top and some fancy lace underwear and bra to put on after the shower.

Shyanne. I thought to myself in the shower. Shyanne. That's my new name from now on. Shyanne Springs.

I'm sorry I haven't updated in a long time, I've been busy with school and symphony, but it's finally over! We placed 3rd place for best in state (: and school ends in a week but finals are next week ):
