Misadventures

"The boys will be here in 2 minutes!" I was in my dressing room getting ready to interview Pierce The Veil. I was a fan of theirs, just recently finding out about them. "Skylar! Are you ready?" I spun in my seat to see my producer, Jake, sticking his head into my dresser.

"Yeah! I'm pumped to be interviewing the guys!" I smiled & got up, following Jake.

"They're here!" I turned to see Vic, Mike, Jaime, & Tony walking in.

"Hey! Over here!" Jake called them over. The boys made their way over to us & shook our hands, "Hey guys, this is Skylar. She's the one that's going to be interviewing you, hope you all get to know each other & enjoy each others company while on set." Jake smiled. "I have to go now, I need to make sure everything is ready for when we go live." He smiled again & left.

"Hey! Is it okay if we call you Sky or Skyla?" Vic asked with a smile. I looked over at the other guys who were also smiling, Jaime giving me the goofiest smile of them all. I laughed & looked back at Vic.

"Sky is fine. I think it's time we get to our places, the show is starting in a few minutes, follow me." I turned & made my way to the set. I was able to hear the guys behind me playing around & giggling. I wanted to giggle too, but I didn't think it was appropriate to get in their business.

"Everyone in your spots!" We all hurried to our seats. Taking my purple chair & the guys taking the four chairs across from mine. "Okay! We're live in 5...4...3...2..." At 1, the cameraman pointed at me.

"Hello everyone! Welcome back to Band Views! Where we interview your favorite bands! Here with us today, we have the one & only Pierce The Veil!" I clapped & looked over at the guys. "So can you all go around & say your name & your role in the band, please."

"Hello, my name is Vic & I'm vocals & guitar."

"Heeeeeey, I'm Jaime. I play bass & do a bit of vocals."

"Ayy I'm Mike. I play drums & I'm Vic's younger brother."

"Hi, I'm Tony & I'm lead guitarist & I love turtles."

"Welcome guys! It's a great honor to have you here. How's Oregon so far?" I looked at the camera & back at the guys. Jaime put the microphone up close to him, signaling that he was going to be the first one to talk.

"Oregon is a very lovely place, we got to visit the Capital in Salem. Now we're here in Portland." Jaime turned to the camera & gave a cheesy smile making the guys & me laugh. Vic picked up his microphone next.

"It's an honor being here. Not many people know about Oregon, but it's a lovely state. We played here in Portland last year for warped. Sadly, Tony got in an accident & wasn't able to join us here in Portland."

"It's nice to have you all here today. So, you guys are going to be releasing a new album this upcoming May, on the thirteenth. You just released a single, Texas Is Forever. Really great song in my opinion."

"Yeah, we put our hearts into this album. Working on it day & night." Mike turned to the camera. "To all our fans out there, we're really sorry that it's taken us almost three to four years to make another album for you guys, but we have an album coming out this May, you can all preorder now." Mike turned back to face me.

I cleared my throat and brought my microphone up to my face. "Tony, what's on your mind? You haven't said anything other than your name & role in the band." We all looked at Tony, who was blushing after calling him out.

"What am I suppose to say, with such an amazing and beautiful girl in front of me, the view is breath taking." The boys eyes widened & looked in my direction. I felt myself blushing & getting hot. I cleared my throat & looked down.

"Uh...why thank you very much, that's so sweet of you." I smiled, looking back up at Tony & making eye contact.

After the hour of interviewing was over, we all stood up & talked for a bit. The guys made their way to one way &I I made mine to my dresser.

As I walked to my dresser, I looked down at my phone, seeing it was 8:00PM, I put it back in my pocket & looked down the whole way to my dressing room. I changed out of my work clothes & into my normal oversized sweaters, shorts, high thighs, & vans. I gave myself a final look in the mirror, just to make sure that my hair wasn't out of place or that nothing was sticking out. I grabbed my messenger bag & left my dressing room. On my way out I bumped into something or someone. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" I looked up to see the one & Tony Perry in front of me. I looked down & thought back to what had happened earlier on set while interviewing them.

"Oh, hey Sky." I looked up & saw Tony smiling. I smiled back & waved at him, too shy to say anything back. "Hey, so we don't leave Oregon until next month, we don't really have any plans while here. Do you want to go somewhere tomorrow?" Tony looked down at the floor in a shy manner. Had he really just asked me out? I was jumping on the inside, someone actually liked me, a guy actually liked me! Then my dreams were crushed. Realizing I had to go to school tomorrow.

"Tony, I wish I could. I have class tomorrow, from 11:00 in the morning to 4:00 in the afternoon, & the drive is one whole hour so I wouldn't get home until 5:00PM." I felt horrible letting him down like this.

"What if I drive you to school tomorrow, & I pick you up, & from there we go out to eat, or the movies, or whatever you want to do?" He smiled and looked into my eyes."

"Okay! That's fine by me!" I stood on my toes & rolled to my heels & back onto my toes.

"Okay, I'll pick you up at 9:50AM or so to pick you up & drop you off at school. Give me your number and your address please, I promise I won't stalk you." We laughed, & he handed me his phone. I took it, typing in my number & address, the giving it back. "Well I'm going now. Goodbye!" Tony gave me a quick hug, turned & left running down the hall. As soon as he turned the corner, I leaned against the wall, processing everything that happened today. Was Tony Perry falling for me?
