If This Was a Movie, I'd be Dead by Now
Chapter 4
I was standing in a dark room. I couldn't see anything then all of the sudden Vic was standing in front of me.
"You're such a worthless freak" he spat.
"What?" I was very confused.
"You're a freak" he spat again "all you do is hurt yourself for no fucking reason" Then he disappeared. What the heck was happening? Soon Jaime appeared in front of me.
"Why did I ever try to be friends with you?" he asked
"What the fuck is going on?" it was like all my fears were coming true.
"You're so stupid," he said. With that, he disappeared. I was standing there for a minute before Dravin appeared.
"I hate you," he said "why couldn't I have had a normal sister instead of the freak show you are"
"Stop" I screamed "stop it all" With that Dravin disappeared and everything turned white.
I heard a beeping noise, it sounded like a heart monitor. A room slowly came into my vision. I was in a hospital room and the heart beat was mine. Vic and Dravin were sitting beside the bed. I sat up. They both looked up at my sudden movement.
"You're awake!" Dravin cheered and got up to give me a hug.
"Unfortunately" I responded.
"Stop talking like the" Vic said.
"You know how in movies they have those not very important characters that die really soon. Well, I would be that character. I would've died immediately, but unfortunately, this isn't a movie and I didn't die. Even though I tried." I sighed.
"It's not unfortunate, it's very fortunate" Dravin reminded.
"Yep, very fortunate," I said sarcastically.
"Celosia, we care about you," Vic said.
"Whatever," I said "when can I get out of this hell hole?"
"Let me check," Dravin said and left the room. Vic and I sat in silence and waited for him to get back.
"Since your vitals and stuff are fine they said you let you out today" Dravin stated, " plus you've been out for a week."
"A week?" I exclaimed.
"Ya," Vic said, "That Jaime kid in our class asked about you."
"What did you tell him?" I asked.
"Just that you had an accident." he responded.
"Good," I said.
"Here are some clothes for you," Dravin said before leaving the room with Vic. I quickly got dressed and walk out. Dravin had signed me out already so we immediately left.
The car ride home was silent except for the radio. Thank god for the radio. When we got home I went to my room and climbed in bed. You'd think after being out for a week you wouldn't be tired but I was exhausted. As soon as I closed my eyes I was asleep.
