The edge of tonight

Tony-

"Hey look who emerged from her hole." Mike teased and she half smiled.

"How are you?" I asked her.

"Better thanks." She smiled at me then gave me a kiss, "I feel relieved to be honest."

"Good." I pulled her onto my lap, "you ready for the rest of today?"

"Yeah, bring it on life, gonna your best shot." She put up her fists and started laughing.

-6weeks later-

"Tony you're going to make me late I have to go to this appointment." She laughed chasing me out of the bathroom.

"Can't we just get married naked?" I teased.

"No. You better go to your tux fitting today. I'm going to call michael every half hour." She threatened pointing her straightener at me.

"Yes ma'am" I said saluting her.

"Good Morgan is almost here and I'm not even close to ready so leave me be." She laughed and went back to doing her thing.

"Zina Anne you better be ready!" Morgan called from coming in the house downstairs.

"Almost done Morgan Reese!" Zina called back.

I could hear Morgan's footsteps coming upstairs, "you better hurry you bum!"

"Okay okay." She said and finished up her makeup, "I'm ready. Don't forget you have your tix fitting at 2. I'll be calling Mike."

"I won't I love you have fun." I said to her.

"I love you too." She kissed me good bye and she was off.

Zina-~~~~~~~~~~~

"This is so overwhelming, everything is so white. I feel if I look at them wrong in going to stain them." I whispered to Morgan.

"Hi I'm Aubriegh I'll be your consultant today, which one of you is my bride, Zina?" I raised my hand, "did you have any styles in mind?"

"Black and white and something that doesn't cover a majority of my tattoos that are on my arms and chest and upper back." I said to her.

"I think I have the perfect dress in mind, we have to special order the black accents on the dress but follow me and we will try on some dresses."

Morgan and I got up and followed her. Some of these dresses we so hideous. I don't wear white, so obviously it made me uncomfortable, but I felt this girl was using me as a Barbie doll more than a client. I wasn't her personal dress up doll.

"Hey not to be rude but none of these can even have black accents added and that's not what I want so can I just try on the dress that you said would be perfect?"

"Oh yeah I'm sorry sure thing." She rushed out of the room and then came back quickly with the dress.

It honestly looked amazing. I loved it and I could envision the black accents and I bought the dress right away. This would've been easier if she wasn't stalling.

"Sorry I didn't just try this one on sooner, I'm just a super fan of Pierce the veil and I know you're marrying Tony. I just wanted to hear about them." She explained to me while we were ordering the dress.

"I understand. It's only natural but this was very uncomfortable for me to begin with and that made it worse. We could've just talked about them. I know what it's like with fans and their bands." I was a little snotty but I wasn't in the mood for the tony talks.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to offend you." She was bright red and looked like she was about to cry.

"Hey don't cry. It's alright. I'm not offended. I just wish you would've been honest." I said to her and patted her on the shoulder.

"I'm a fan of you too, I saw you sing at their show. That and I've seen the tattoos you do. I've always wanted one but I never had the money because you're a big name in the tattoo business and you can charge a pretty penny." She was wiping the escaped tears.

"How about you come down the the shop when you have a chance and I'll give you a discount."

I felt bad for almost making her cry.

"I can come Friday, I don't work." She was still sort of sniffling.

"That's perfect." I said to her and I wrote out on a piece of paper our little deal just in case I forgot and told her to give it to me when she came in.

"Thank you so much." She gave me a hug and apologized again then went back to work.

"That was mighty nice of you." Morgan poked at me.

"Yeah yeah. Don't tell anyone they might think my soul and heart aren't black." I laughed and we went home.
