One shots

Requested by: No one because I have no friends and the story has literally been up for about 2 minutes.
"What do you mean? Y-you don't want to be together anymore?" I asked, tears threatening to spill - and it was only a matter of time before they did.
"Listen, i'm sorry Y/N, you're lovely, you're amazing, sweet and caring, but you just don't suit me" Mike said, his eyes glazed over like he had done this many times before.
"What? Why?" I asked, feeling the familiar warmth run down my cheeks as the water works began, and I found myself sitting down on a nearby stool while taking in shaky breaths as I was no longer able to support my fragile body.
"You hate me drinking. You hate me smoking. I just feel like I have no freedom whenever i'm with you" he stated, an unreadable expression on his face.
"But I can give you freedo-" I begun, but I was quickly cut off by Mike gesturing for me to silence myself with a swipe of his hand.
"I'm sorry, it's just not going to work out" He said, calmly.
"I understand" I mumbled as I dragged my shaking body toward the hotel room door. Mike's house had been flooded so we were staying in a hotel for a few days.
I dialled the first number that sprung to mind- my best friend, Tony Perry. After two rings he picked up "Hey shortie! what's up?" his cheerful voice rung through the phone,
"M-mike broke up with me, I D-don't have anywhere to go" I stuttered out, before bursting into tears again as the elevator dinged, signalling that it was at the first floor - the lobby.
"I'm coming to get you" was all I heard before he hung up.
Five minutes had passed and I had calmed down significantly since the phone call. I was looking down at my feet when two vans clad feet that were much larger than mine appeared in front of me.
"Hey" Tony said. I slowly - almost shamefully- lifted my head to meet his eyes. He looked at me like I was a lost puppy.
"Hi" I managed to croak out.
"Come here" he said, and lifted me up to pull me in his arms.
And I knew - right then and there, while being in the warm embrace of Tony Perry - that this would be the man who I was going to spend the rest of my life with.
