But Where's Your Heart?

"Ok, so I'll be at your house at 6:30" I nodded and slammed my locker door shut

"Ok, well uh so see you then"

"Later Vic" then we walked in opposite directions.

TONY'S POV

"Hey Tone, want a ride home?" Vic said as he approached me walking down the school halls.

"Uh yeah sure"

"Cool, we're dropping off Jaime too"

"Yeah, sounds good"

We exited the school then went into Vic's car.

"Hey guys" I said to Mike and Jaime who we're already in the car.

"What the hell why'd you guys take so long?" Mike said looking over to Vic.

"I had to make sure with the time and stuff with Andrea"

"Oooohh, Andrea!" Jaime said leaning forward in his chair a bit.

"Oh come on Vic we all know you have a little crush on her!" Mike said in a baby voice.

This topic of conversation made me really uncomfortable so I decided to put on my earbuds and ignore them. They dropped Jaime off first then me but as I thanked them and got out of the car Vic stopped me.

"Hey are you alright? "

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine, why?"

"Uh, no reason. Just felt like I should ask"

I know there's more to this but I really just want to lay down so I nodded and walked into my house.

~a couple hours later~

I caught a ride with Jaime and now we're all tuning our instruments except for Vic who went to pick up Andie.

"So, Turtle what's up with you? Got your eye on any lady turtles?" I chuckled at his lazy attempt to start a conversation.

"No Jaime" I said still smiling. I know he can see through me, he's one of the only people who can.

"Come on Turtle, there's gotta be one lucky lady eh?" Mike said from the corner of the room.

"Hmmmm, nope" I said popping the "P".

At that moment, Vic walked in with Andie, all smiling and laughing.

"Hey guys" they said in unison.

Vic went to prepare his instrument and Andie went to sit next to Mike and Jaime on the couch. Once Vic was ready, we got into position and started playing "Dammit" by Blink 182.

When we finished, Andie got up and started cheering and I couldn't help but smile.

"Encore! Encore!" She started jumping and clapping and imitating the sound of an audience.

"Guys that was so cool! Do another one!" We looked around at each other then Vic decided to speak.

"Um that's kinda the only one we've practice or even know for that matter"

She immediately stopped and looked at us.

"What? You guys invited me all excited and shit just for one song?"

"It was one good song" Jaime said trying to make things better.

Seeing that she chuckled a bit made everyone feel a bit better.

"Alright, I mean this was a band practice so go on, start practising" she gestured with her hands and sat again on the couch.

We were practising "21 Guns" by Greenday when Andie came up to me and whispered.

"Tony, that's the wrong tuning for this song". I wanted to fix it but she was so close to my face I could almost...
Then she reached down and tuned me guitar for me. I was a about to say something, apologise, but instead I put my head down and blushed. She finished then smiled at me and resumed her place on the couch. I smiled back and briefly glanced over at Vic and noticed he was looking down.
Now I feel bad and hope he didn't see anything.

At the end Andie said goodbye to everyone but gave a hug only to me then said she had a ride home. Jaime left soon after that and Mike went to his room. Vic was going to drive me home so I was waiting on him.

I can already feel the tension in the car.

Ok I know y'all wanna kill me but hear me out. First, sorry for taking so long to update even when I said I'd be getting better. I can actually promise more updates now because I have my plot done and actually have plans with this story, at first I was really just winging it soooo..... Yeah.
