Mike’s POV:
“Babe, I love that you’re trying to protect your friend, but you can’t protect her of you’re in jail.” I laugh a little.
“This isn’t funny Mike! He hurt her so bad this time, she lost her baby and almost lost Tony! It not fucking funny! If I had never introduced her to him in the first place, none of this would’ve happened!””
“You’re right. I’m sorry. But we can’t kill him. And this isn’t your fault Danielle. Don’t you ever think that. But on the plus side, all of this made us meet.”
“I fucking know.” She starts crying.
“Come here.” I pull her into my chest. She wraps her arms around me. “You need to sleep a little. “
“I’m not leaving.”
“I never said anything about that.” We sit down outside of Taylor’s room on the floor. I put my arm around her so her head fits somewhat in my neck. And she falls asleep.


3 Day’s Later:
Vic’s POV:They transported Taylor to the hospital nearest to our house in Cali. We’re at the hospital with Taylor and I get a phone call. Its from Luke, our tour manger.
“I gotta take this, I’ll be right back.” I walk out of the room and Victoria follows me.
“Hello.”
“Hey man, it’s Luke. Look I know about everything that was been happening and it really sucks but we have to get back on the road. You’re getting some bad press and ya’ll are up for band of year. Finishing this tour would really do that. It would be cool if we could get ya’ll back on the road by the end of the week.”
“Dammit. Okay I’ll talk to the guys, we’ll figure something out.”
“Keep me updated!”
“Okay.” I hang up. Victoria walks up to me.
“Is everything okay?”
“Luke wants us back on tour by the end of the week.”
“What about Taylor?”
“Exactly.” I walk back to the room. “Tony, come here.”
We walk back outside.
“We have a problem.”
“What man?”
“Tour Tony. We have to go back on tour.”
“Fuck. We have to go now?”
“By the end of the week.”
“What am I suppose to do Vic? I can’t just leave her by herself.”
Victoria walks up to us.
“What if all the girls stay? We could say at Katelynne’s since Kellin is on tour with you guys.”
“Katelynne has kids to take care of.”-T
“Then we’ll stay at the house.”
“Tony?”
“I don’t know. What if he shows up?”
“Erin and Danielle and I can take care of him.”
“Tony?”
“Fine.” He walks back into Taylor’s room.
“That went well.”
“He’ll come around babe.” Victoria kisses me then go into the room.

Taylor’s POV:
Tony isn’t the same when he comes back into my room.
“Is everything okay?”
“Of course.” He kisses me.
Victoria walks back in. “Hey guys, wonna grab some lunch?”
Everyone says yes and they say they’ll bring me something back. Tony stays. We’re quiet for a long time.
“Tony.”
“Taylor.”
“Do you really want to marry me?”
“What?”
“I just feel like you just proposed because I was pregnant. We’ve only been together for almost a year and we’re engaged.”
“Well of course I want to marry you. Taylor I love you.”
“I love you! I just needed to know that you just didn’t want to marry me because of the baby.”
“I have to tell you something.”
“What?”
“We have to go on tour.”
“Okay.”
“Okay?’
Tony, I don’t want to hold you back from doing what you love. It’s okay. I’ll be here when you get back.”
“You’re amazing.” He crawls into the bed with me and my body falls into his perfectly. He wraps his hands around my waist and pulls me closer to his.
“If we weren’t in a hospital right now, we would be going a lot more than spooning.” I smile. “I know.” I turn so my body is facing his and I dig my face into his chest. And like every night for the rest of my life, I listen to his heart. It’s clam and steady. This is heart that will protect me my whole life. This is the heart that will love me. This is the heart that I get to love. And the heart I get to fall asleep listening to, for the rest of my life.
