Don't Hit me

I can barely open my eyes. But I can hear the sound of the monitors and I feel the tubes going inside me. When I am finally able to open my eyes, my best friend Danielle is sitting beside my bed holding my hand. “Da-da-Danielle?” “Oh my Gosh Taylor you’re away!” “Yea, how long have I been out?” “Only for a couple hours. How are you feeling?” “Everything hurts.” “You need time to rest.”
“Hey look who’s up!” “Vic? What are you doing here?” “well don’t think I’m creepy but I watched you walk to your car and saw how that guy yelled at you. I was really worried so I followed ya’ll and when he came out of the house with bloody knuckles I kinda punched him.” “You what?! Are you okay?!” “Hell yea, He’s at the police station now. I called 911 when you wouldn’t wake up and I called Danielle because she seemed to be the person you talked to the most” “wow.” “Yea there are some guys I’d like you to meet.” Mike, Jamie and Tony all walk in. Mike and Jamie began talking to Danielle and I like we’ve known each other for years. Mike I can has eyes for Danielle. They way he looks at her was the way David first looked at me. Memories fly through my mind and I try my hardest not to cry.
“Are you okay?” I look up and see Mike. “Yea it’s just I don’t know what I’m going to do now. I have no where to go.” “I’m sure everything will work out, Hey Vic we need to talk outside!” All of this is a lot to take in so I need to sleep….
