The house is crowded with people. Empty bottles and cups line every surface. The music is turned up and the bass shakes the walls. It's kinda surprising the cops haven't shown up yet to be honest.
I'm dancing in the middle of the crowd. Vic fights his way through and hands me a beer. I smile and nod thanks. An arm snakes around my waist. Drew. He pulls me against him. He slides his hand up my thigh and kisses my neck. I push him off and leave the room in search of some fresh air. Drew follows. He grabs my hand and pulls me up the stairs. My head is foggy. He drags me into a room and pushes me on a bed. Drew starts kissing me. The kisses aren't soft though, they are forceful. His weight pins me to the bed and his hands pull at my skirt and top. It doesn't feel right. I try to get out from under him, but I can't. None of this feels right. Tears roll down my cheeks. I'm hitting him, trying to make him stop.
Suddenly he is pulled off of me. Vic and Mike have him. They wrestle him out of the room and out of the house. I stumble down the stairs and follow. I can see Mike hitting Drew. Drew calls out in pain. I sink to the cold ground. The tears are blinding and my body is shaking violently...

"Val? Valerie, baby? Wake up, honey! Baby?" I wake up with a jolt. My body is a crying, sweaty mess. I try to shake off whoever is holding me.

"Woah, babe. It was just a dream. I've got you. You're safe now." Mikey. He's laying next to me, one arm around my waist the other rubbing my back. I bury my face into his chest and sob, "It was Drew. H-he was g-going to... He a-almost..."

Mike pulls me in tighter. "Don't worry, baby. No one's going to hurt you ever again."

He holds me until my crying stops. He goes to leave, but I grab his hand. "Stay." He nods his head and gets back into bed. I curl into him, and we fall asleep just like that.
