Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

*Cassidy's POV*
-Day of the Date-

It was 5:45pm and I still wasn't ready, Mike would be here in approximately 40/45 minutes, "Tamara!" I shouted from my bedroom, she raced through, stopping at the bedroom door, "You're not dressed? Why are you not dressed? YOU'RE NOT DRESSED!!?" She said panicking, "I think you're more nervous than I am?" I laughed, "Can you do my hair and nails?" I asked, she nodded and quickly plonked me down on a chair, while I used my right hand for my make up she done the left and then the right when I was finally finished, next she started on my hair and then finally it was just my job to get dressed, "Okay I need my tab-" I started but stopped when I was interrupted by my phone ringing, it was Mike, Tamara dove for it and answered, "Hello Cass' phone" she answered, "Oh hi Mike, yeah she'll be done in a minute" she said giving me a glare as I hadn't even started getting dressed, "Okay, okay bye" she said before putting the phone down, "You get dressed, I'll stall him" she said running out and downstairs in her pyjamas I rolled my eyes as I started getting dressed, once I was ready I raced downstairs and to see my dad and Karen sitting on the couch, "Dad, that's me away" I smiled, they both looked at me, "Oh you look lovely dear, where are you off to?" Karen asked sweetly, I took a deep breath to stop me from lunging at her, "I have a date" I said before turning on my heels and walking out, I saw Tamara standing beside Mike as he leaned on the outside of the car, when he saw me he immediately straightened up, cleared his throat and brushed himself down, I have to say, he shapes up pretty well, "Cass, you look beautiful" he said I blushed a little before smiling at him, "You don't look so bad yourself" I giggled before hugging Tamara goodbye and jumping in the car, "So where are you taking me?" I asked as we started to drive, "Oh it's a surprise" he smirked, I looked at him, "Okay if you're going to kill me tell me now" I laughed, he gave me a seriously look before giving a weak laugh and putting his eyes back on the road, that unnerved me a little. Eventually we arrived at a small car park and it was pitch black, "Okay Mike, you're scaring me" I said a little worried as I looked around at the emptiness outside, "Oh come on, have a little faith" Mike said getting out and jogging around to my side, opening the door and helping me out, "Fine" I sighed before we started walking down a small path, I felt Mike's hand touch mine but in fright I pulled away, leaving Mike with a glum look on his face, "Can I cover your eyes?" He asked stopping us, I looked at him confused, "What? Why?" I asked, "Because it's supposed to be a surprise?" He said, I sighed and nodded before he covered my eyes with his hands and started leading me forward again, eventually we stopped.

"Ready?" He asked still covering my eyes, I sighed and nodded, "As I'll ever be" I smiled before he uncovered my eyes, my smile soon faded into shock, "What do you think?" He asked, I laughed weakly, "I-I love it!" I smiled turning around and looking at him, "It's beautiful" I said looking deep into his eyes, "It should be, my inspiration was you" he beamed, I started laughing loudly, "That's so cheesy" I giggled covering my mouth, he rolled his eyes and picked me up, throwing me over his shoulder and carrying me over to the small picnic, "Mike, seriously, never do that again" I said trying to regain my balance once he put me down, "Shall we?" He asked, I nodded before sitting down, he cracked open a bottle of wine and before I knew it we were on to our second and had finished all the food, "Okay so what's your favorite color?" Mike asked as we finished our wine and poured another glass for ourselves, "Forest green, yours?" I asked taking a sip of the wine and eating some grapes, "Blue I guess" he smiled stealing a grape out of my hand and eating it, "Hey that was my grape" I said frowning, he smiled a little as I was upset, "Awwh I'm sorry, let me make it up to you" he said, I just looked at him and before I knew it our lips were crashed together and we were passionately making out, he started leaning back until hd was fully laying down and he had pulled me on top of him, I suddenly found myself grinding on him, "Should we take this back to mine?" He asked in between kisses, I stopped and smiled down at him, nodding, before standing up and leading him to the car, it was silent but it was an excited suspension in the air, when we reached Mike's we parked up outside and he led me into the house, when we entered it was tidier than I had expected, "Give me sec" he said before disappearing into what seemed like the kitchen, "Mike why so you have a spray bottle?" I asked picking the clear bottle of water up and scooshing it, "For my plants" he shouted back through before re-entering the living room, "Ready?" He asked, I nodded before picking the spray bottle up and squirting it in his face, "Hey!!" He shouted looking at my mischievous grin on my face, I squirted it again bur this time he started chasing me around the house trying to get it of me.
