Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

*Cassidy's POV*

I saw Mike's face light up when he saw me making my way down the aisle towards him, I could feel the nerves slowly starting to ease away as I got closer to him, "Hey" he smiled when I reached him, "Hi" I smiled back before taking a hold of his hands. The whole ceremony went by in a flash and before I knew it, we were all making our way through to the dining area, which thanks to Mike and the boys, looked beautiful, I could see all the confusion on the guests face as they took their seats and looked down and the envelopes and cupcakes decorating their tables, "Could everyone please take their seats" Mike smiled as he stood up and cleared his throat, everyone settled and looked at us inquisitively, "Cassidy and I have something to announce to you all and couldn't think of a better way to do it than this" Mike announced, "Are you guys getting married!?" Jaime asked jokingly, the room echoed in laughs before they all settled down again, "If one person could please open the envelope in the middle of your table" Mike said, he looked at me and smiled, there were suddenly gasps and cheers from different areas in the room, "You are pregnant!" Tamara said standing up and giving me a hug, I laughed a little and nodded before the crowds eyes grew back on us, "Now please, cut into your cake!" Mike smiled raising his voice as we watched everyone cut into the middle of their cupcake and saw the blue buttercream run out like a river, there were smiles and tears and just all around happiness everywhere, "Speeches!" Vic shouted with a mouthful of cake as Mike and I sat back down, "First of all lets just take a minute to congratulate Cass and Mike on their small boy!" He said before putting the mic down and clapping, after a couple minutes of clapping he picked it back up, "Now when I first met Cassidy, I'm not going to lie, I thought she was pretty shady, she was quiet, didn't interact much and didn't seem like she was interested in Mike, now that I have grown to know her better than anyone I would like to think, I am so glad that I can finally call you my sister, Mike you done good, to Mike and Cass!" He said raising his glass, "To Mike and Cass" everyone chorused back while raising their glasses, next was Jaime, then Tony, my dad, Katelynne and finally Tamara, they were mainly sly warnings for Mike not to hurt me and funny anecdotes about me.

After dinner was the first dance, I'm not going to say Mike was drunk but he wasn't far from it, "Can we please give a warm welcome to Mr and Mrs Fuentes as they take to the floor for their first dance!" The lead band member smiled, everyone cheered as Mike and I started to dance, as we were dancing, I looked around for Austin, I didn't notice him at the ceremony or during dinner, "Who are you looking for?" Mike asked smiling at me, "No one, I'm just looking around" I laughed a little, he nodded and kissed the top of my head, "I love you Mrs Fuentes" he grinned, "I love you too, Mr Fuentes" I said burying my face into his chest as we continued to dance to the music, when it stopped everyone else came pouring on to the dance floor and mingled/danced with us, making Mike and I separate, as I was talking to Katelynne I saw Austin behind her sitting at a table awkwardly, "Can you excuse me a second" I smiled before walking over, "Hey, you not drinking?" I asked standing in front of him, he looked me up and down, "No I'm driving, but may I say Mrs Fuentes you look gorgeous" he smiled, I quickly thanked him before sitting down on the seat next to him, "So you're leaving after this huh?" I asked, he nodded and sighed, "There is still time to change your mind" he said with hopeful eyes, "Austin I literally just got married, I am also carrying Mike's baby, I can't just up root everything and leave" I laughed shaking my head, "I'll treat the baby as my own and we can tell him when he's older, you can and you know you can, you just... Won't" he shrugged, I smiled and stood up, dragging him off his feet and hugging him, "I'm sorry Austin" I said giving his cheek a quick peck, "I know" he sighed before we pulled apart, "Want a coke?" I asked as I went to get myself one, he smiled and nodded as he watched me walk up to the bar, as I was getting the drinks I heard Tamara giggling from a cupboard close by, I ignored it until I was walking back to Austin, I saw her dress hanging out of the door as she giggled 'sh' to someone, I heard a deep moan which sounded like.. My heart suddenly dropped as did the drinks in my hand, I swung open the door to see Mike and Tamara making out as they were both trying to undress, I felt the tears form in my eyes as he took a breather to look at me, I could see the guilt forming in both their eyes as they noticed me, "Cass" Mike said as I ran away, I saw Austin staring at me as I ran out and heard footsteps behind me, "Cass, what's wrong?" Austin asked grabbing my hand to stop me, "You still want me to come to Florida?" I asked, I saw his eyes searching mine for answers but refrained from asking any as he just smiled and nodded, leading me to his car.
