Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

*Mike's POV*

"What are you so happy about?" Oli asked eyeing me up, I giggled a little as we continued to walk, "Wait.. Have you got a date?" He asked, I smiled and nodded, "Oooh when?" He asked, I shrugged as I realized I hadn't actually gave her a time, I quickly pulled my phone out my pocket and texted Cassidy;

I'll pick you up tomorrow at 6:30pm

Received: 14:42

I locked my phone and looked back at Oli, "Tomorrow at 6:30" I smiled, he nodded as we walked into Office, "You should get some new shoes as well" Oli suggested, I looked down at my black Vans and realized he was right, I picked out another pair that matches my outfit now and for tomorrow night, "Ready?" I asked Oli, he smiled and nodded grabbing his bag before we exited towards Starbucks, "Hi how can I help you?" The barista asked, I thought for a second and then ordered, "One coffee with two sugars and two black teas with one sugar in each please" I ordered, she smiled and took my name, "Oh can you write Cassidy on one of the teas and Oli on the coffee?" I asked, she smiled and nodded writing the names before directing Oli and I to the side, "Thanks bro, but who is Cass and why are you getting her a black tea?" He asked confused, "Cassidy is my date for tomorrow and she looks stressed out" I shrugged, he nodded but before he could say anything else our orders were shouted on, "Thanks" I smiled taking the black teas and leaving Oli to get his own, "I'll meet you back at the car" I said before racing back down towards Cassidy's work, I saw her stacking some shelves but she couldn't reach the top one, I put the drinks down on the empty one before sneaking up behind her, "Let me help you with that" I said causing her to squeal and jump making customers laugh and giggle at us, "Mike!" She said turning around and slapping my chest, "Why are you here?" She asked composing herself as I finished packing the shelves for her, "I brought you tea" I shrugged, she looked at me and then at my hands and then back up to my face, "Where is it?" She asked confused, I stepped to the side revealing the tea on the empty shelf, she rolled her eyes and reach across to grab her cup but I blocked her way, she looked at me confused, "You're only getting this if you absolutely promise you will go on that date with me tomorrow" I said, she sighed and nodded, "Okay, I promise" she said looking at me with innocent eyes, "Here" I smiled handing her tea and taking mine, we took a couple sips while we stood in silence staring at each other, "What did he come back to tell you he made a mistake?" The girl Cassidy was working with earlier asked, I saw Cassidy's mood change from happiness to anger and anxiousness, "No actually I forgot something" I said smiling at her, "What your dignity?" She asked, Cassidy looked at me and I shook my head before I turned back to Cassidy and clashed our lips together, to my surprise she was quick to kiss back.
