Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

-3 Days Later-

It's been 3 days since I started being 'haunted' by Austin, as Mike would say, but it's kind of true as everywhere I go I see him at least once, like a hallucination, "Come on, Cass, please" Mike begged as we lay in bed, he's been trying to get me to go to the doctor's for a while now but I only made an appointment yesterday when I thought Austin was attacking me with a blunt object, "I don't wanna. I just want to lounge here, with you... Forever" I said murmuring the last part, Mike looked up at me as he rested his head on my stomach and lay on his front between my legs, "You can't lounge in your bacon sweats and doughnut jumper forever y'know" he smiled, before I could answer I got a sharp pain in my stomach, "Are you okay?" Mike asked panicking as he sat up and looked at me worriedly, the pain finally went away and I nodded before taking a couple of deep breaths and then relaxing, "Babe, for me. Please" he begged trying to guilt trip me, "Fine" I sighed giving in, "Get out so I can get ready" I said getting up and standing in front of the wardrobe, "What? Why? You always let me stay while you get dressed?" Mike asked confused, "Well I'm getting fatter and have stretch marks plus I look horrendous so, no, leave" I said determined to get rid of him, "Baby, you're not even fat, and you'll always be beautiful to me" he smiled wrapping his arms around my stomach and resting his head on my shoulder, "Seriously Mike, leave" I sighed pushing him away from me, "Fine, I'm going" he sighed holding his hands up and giving me a kiss on the forehead before leaving, I quickly stripped down and stood in front of the mirror checking myself over, I was so fat and ugly, my breath stinks and the stretch marks just add extra flaws, I felt physically sick just looking at myself, I ran to the toilet just in time to be sick, the pizza and milk from last night came up along with bile, I heard the bedroom door shoot open as Mike appeared at the bathroom door, "I'm fine" I said waving my hand as my other hugged the bowl, "And this is why you're going to the doctors" he said helping me up, I didn't bother arguing with him as I felt too fatigued, it took me about 40 minutes to get ready as I was trying to stall as much as I could.

"Babe, come on we're going to be late!" Mike shouted from downstairs, I took one last look in the mirror before taking a deep breath and walking down, "Can't we just stay in bed all day?" I asked as I reached the bottom, Mike turned and walked towards me, "Well it's tempting" he smirked pulling me towards him by my bum so our faces were inches apart, "Yes, very tempting" I said trying to convince him, before he could say anything else I quickly kissed him, as our lips moved around in sync Mike moved him hands up my skirt and rested them on my bum, squeezing them as the kiss got deeper, "Later" Mike breathed pulling away, "But-" I started before getting cut off by him, "The only but acceptable here is yours" he smiled walking away, I rolled my eyes and followed him out to the car. The drive there was silent as I was very nervous, "Ready?" Mike asked as we parked up, I just nodded, unable to speak from nerves, he smiled and jumped out, we connected hands as we walked in, "Hi, Cassidy Harrold" Mike smiled as I went to sit down, I sat next to an old lady who looked kind, "Morning dear" she smiled, "Good morning" I smiled back, "You look very beautiful today" she said looking me up and down, "Oh thank you, you look very pretty yourself" I said, she thanked me before looking away, "If you don't mind me asking, how far are you?" She asked, I looked at her confused, "Excuse me?" I asked laughing a little unsure what she was talking about, "You're glowing dear" she said tapping my hand, "Oh I'm not pregnant" I said, "she just gave me a look as if I was in denial, before I could say anything else my name was called, "Bye deary" she smiled, "Bye" I smiled back, "Who was that?" Mike asked as we walked down the hall hand in hand, "I dunno, but she was sweet" I said before we reached he doctors door, "Ready?" He asked, I nodded and walked in with Mike following closely behind, "Miss Harrold?" He asked, I nodded and sat in the seat he pointed to, "So what seems to be the problem?" He asked, I looked at Mike and took a deep breath before explaining about seeing Austin everywhere, he nodded and sighed, "Can you jump on the table behind you please?" He asked, I nodded and jumped up, laying down, he started feeling my stomach and under my boobs, he went back to his desk and started typing, "You two are together, yeah?" He asked, "Yeah, we're engaged" Mike said as he grabbed a hold of my hand, "Well, it's good news" he said as he stopped typing and turned around to face us, "It is just pre-pregnancy stress" he smiled, my face immediately dropped as did Mike's, "I-I'm pregnant?" I asked sitting up and looking at him, he smiled and nodded, before I knew it Mike and I were engulfed in each others embraces, I guess the old lady was right.
