Cold, Empty Mattresses And Falling Stars

*Cassidy's POV*

"Cass, please you said you would" Mike whined, I groaned into his pillow while taking in his musky scent, "Cassidy, you promised!!" He said again trying to pull me out of bed, "I don't wanna move" I moaned, I felt him sit at the bottom of the bed before he made his way up and sat on my legs before lying over me and started to kiss my neck, "Please" he asked between kisses I moaned a little, "You promised" he said resting his chin on my shoulder, I sighed and rolled around so I was lying on my back and looking at him, "And you promised you'd get me out of eating" I said, he nodded, "I'll try, I said I would" he defended, I sighed and nodded, "Fine, but I can't exactly go in this" I laughed motioning to the clothes Mike had given me last night, "I'll take you home" he said kissing me quickly, before he could pull away I put my hands in his hair and clashed out lips together again, I suddenly started to move myself up against him as we casually made out, we suddenly jumped apart as Mike's phone started to ring, he answered it, "Hi Mom" he said looking at me, I smiled a little but inside I was praying that she was cancelling, "Yeah sure, okay, bye, love you too" he said before hanging up, "Oh no, Mrs Fuentes is busy, we need to cancel last minute, how will I cope" I said sarcastically, Mike rolled his eyes before jumping on me again,"Actually, we need to be there earlier than 7pm, actually" he said leaning down and kissing me as I made a sad face, "Come on, get your lazy bum up" he laughed before pinching my bum and running down stairs like a child, I sighed and rolled my eyes before getting out of bed and going to the toilet, as I was peeing I thought I heard someone come in the house but I shrugged it off as I figured that it might be Mike taking out the trash, I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen on my phone, "Hey Mike, do you know where my-" I said stopping when I knew that Mike wasn't in the kitchen alone, I looked up and saw Jaime, Tony and Vic sitting around the table with Mike, Tony and Jaime were smiling at each other as they were checking me up and down before Mike slapped them both in the back of the head and Vic just sat there looking at me judgmentally, I felt my face turn red, "Come here" Mike said quietly holding out his hand, I quickly took it and sat on his knee at the table, beside Vic, I was still embarrassed and Mike could tell as he started to stroke my thigh to try and calm me down but it didn't work because Vic was watching his hand and me closely, which made me more nervous than embarrassed. After Jaime and Tony left it was just Vic, Mike and I left and it suddenly got awkward as Mike left to take a shower, forgetting about what I was wearing for a moment I broke the silence, "Would you like some more coffee?" I asked Vic, "I can get it" he said about to get up, "No it's fine, I've got it" I smiled before getting up and grabbing the coffee pot, I felt his eyes on me as I also poured myself a coffee and grabbed the milk, taking it over to him, he didn't thank me, but I wasn't looking for one anyway.

Mike eventually took me to my house and we were standing in the middle of my room as he helped me on deciding what to wear, "I am hopeless at this" he laughed taking a seat on my bed, I rolled my eyes and surfed through my clothes, I finally found an outfit that didn't look too skimpy to wear to meet Mike's family, "What do you think?" I asked once I done my hair and makeup, he looked at me in deep thought before a smile cracked on his face, "You look beautiful" he said standing up and kissing me, I suddenly had a thought come to mind and gasped, jumping back away from Mike, "What?" He asked getting worried, "Your family, we're going to have to tell them you're dating and Vic is going to hate me more than he already does and-" I started as I was panicking but Mike cut me off, "We'll tell them, but we'll do it together and I couldn't care what Vic thinks, you're amazing and best of all, you're mine" he smiled, kissing me softly, I smiled into the kiss before pulling away, "We should probably go" I said before grabbing my purse and racing him downstairs to the car. We finally arrived at the Fuentes' house and Mike was trying to coax me to get out of the car, "Please" he said grabbing my hand and kissing it, I sighed and nodded, "I'm just really scared Mike, what if they don't like me, I mean I know Vic hates me" I said feeling myself starting to panic, he shook his head and laughed, "They won't hate you and neither does Vic, he's just being overprotective, okay?" Mike said looking at me with hopeful eyes, I sighed as I gave in, "Fine" I said before he leaned over and kissed me quickly, "Ready?" He asked, I nodded and jumped out, taking his hand and walking to the door with him, "Mom, we're here!" He shouted as we entered, the house was small but homely and welcoming, "I'm in the kitchen" she shouted through, I gripped Mike's hand a little tighter as we continued to walk the kitchen, "Michael!" Mrs Fuentes shouted throwing her arms around Mike which caused him to let go of my hand, I suddenly felt irrelevant and uncomfortable in this new surrounding, "Cassidy" she smiled also pulling me into a hug, I was a little taken back but politely hugged her back, "I've made chilaquiles, I hope you're hungry?" She asked, I smiled a little before taking a seat next to Mike and giving him a deadly look, "Please just try to eat" he whispered quietly, "You lied to me" I said getting angry, "Please" he said taking a hold of my hand, I sighed and watched as Mrs Fuentes set a plate of food in front of me.
