Love Amongst Destruction

“My goodness, they have taken my Bella away” Chance said with a sad puppy dog face.

“What are you talking about, silly?” I asked him as we walked down the steps of an old southern Georgia cafe.

“Pie!” Chance screamed, with a bit of a giggle.

“And what about pie?” I questioned him.

“You were the pie queen, you loved pie, especially peach! Do you realize that you just walked past the most delightful looking and smelling peach pie in the world?” He said, his voice raised higher, but not with actual anger.

“Yeah, yeah.” I scoffed.

“I’m working on my kick ass body, so I can kick ass.” I giggled.

“Those fuckers better watch out.” Chance stated, hopping into the driver’s seat.

I slipped back into the passenger’s seat and buckled up.

“You know you wouldn’t let me get within 50 feet of them by my own will.” I sighed, leaning back and looking over at him.

Chance looked back and I saw his emotions change, from fun loving to somber.

“Bells, I’ll never be able to understand your emotions towards them, the real raw ones. That hatred and despise, but you know what would happen if you got close enough.”

His voice cracked a bit and I noticed his eyes started to fill up to the brim with fresh tears.

“Oh Chance” I cooed, leaning over and enveloping him into a soft but comforting hug.

“I’d never see you again” He suddenly sobbed, fully losing control of his emotions.

I knew he would break eventually, he was strong but you could see it in his eyes, internally he was crushed.

“Shhh, shhh.” I soothed him, gently rubbing his back.

“I just can’t lose you again, Bella. I can’t.” He cried out.

“You won’t Chance, you won’t. That’s my promise to you. I am yours, I’m not theirs, I never was. I love you, ok? Through that hell I’ve learned what real love is, and it’s not what those people think it is.” I attempted to soothe him.

He turned to me then, gently lifted his hand and put it ever so carefully underneath my chin so I was looking directly into his eyes.

“I love you too.” He whispered, suddenly pulling me in closer.

Our lips met, and his hand gently went to my face and brushed some of my hair out of my face.

We didn’t break our embrace and kept the kiss passionate and alive, it truly warmed my entire body.

Suddenly a huge smile popped onto Chance’s face and he slowly released my lips, but kept his hand gently on the side of my face.

“Woah” I quietly whispered to myself.

“Now that…..I’ve waited years for that. Do you know why Ms. Noel? Chance asked me.

“You’re a horny teenager.” I joked with a little giggle.

“No, you crazy girl.”

He let out a laugh, and quickly looked back at me with a serious expression.

“It’s because I’ve always loved you. I’ve never wanted something more than I’ve wanted you, and to just love you forever.” Chance told me in the most serious voice I’ve ever heard him say.

Then the realization of what he meant full on hit me.

“Chance…..are you saying what I think you’re saying?” I questioned him in a hushed tone, almost shocked.

A huge grin popped onto his face, and he nodded his head again.

Tears started to fill his eyes, but these weren’t sad tears.

Oh no, these were tears of pure joy and happiness.

I leaned back into him and engaged in the most passionate and love filled kiss I’ve ever experienced.

This truly was the beginning of a new life for me.

Ryan Sitkowski’s POV

I walked off stage completely drenched, but that’s what happens when you play a summer tour in a suit, I know Chris could attest to that.

“Hey, you kicked ass out there.” Cameron, from AA said walking now with my back in the direction of the bus.

“Thanks. I can’t lie though, it’s fucking hard to focus knowing Bella’s not here.” I admitted.

“It’s not just you, it’s everyone. I’ll be honest, when we get back to the buses I expect her to be there. Which is obviously fucking insane.” Cameron said.

“Well at least we’ve got the license number now and a car, we’re one step closer.” I told him.

“Fuck steps closer, we’re right on them.” James announced, as we finally were at the tour buses.

“What do you mean?” I asked him.

He tossed me a little tablet and said “Green is Bella and Chance, Yellow is All Time Low and the rest of their vans.”

Cameron and I quickly looked at the map and saw mainly one line, and it was blue.

“Holy shit, they’re right on their tails.” Cameron gasped.

“Yeah, and we estimate that the tiny bit more of green means they’re about 2 hours ahead of us.” James explained.

“Yeah, 2 hours from getting her little ass fucking beat. No, screw that. Not her ass, that entire little body that belongs to us.” Danny seethed, coming out from our bus.

“Oh yeah, once she’s back she’s in for it.” James agreed.

“Silly little Bella, oh how you’ve dug yourself such a deep hole.” I tisked, shaking my head back and forth as I watched more of the green line turn blue.

“Come on we’ve got to get to our booths.” Balz announced, quickly popping back by the buses to inform us.

I set the tablet down, being the last person to leave.

“Goodbye for now my precious. I’ll be seeing you real soon.”
