Love Amongst Destruction

Chance Can't Know

11:38 pm ~

“Rough Day?” I asked Tyler, noticing he look completely wiped out and exhausted.

“I’m just not feeling too hot, to be honest.” He told me.

“Go into the bus then, sleep it off. Don’t stay up and make it worse.” I said.

“I would but Bella’s out there killing her liver, I’ll make sure she gets to bed, calms down, and is ok.” Tyler replied.

“Don’t let Bella beat you down, ok? I can and will take care of her for tonight, just get some sleep and relax for tonight.” I told him.

I could just see the hesitation in his eyes, the dedication and bond that Tyler had to Bella was honestly quite amazing.

Finally he conceded.

“Alright, alright. I’ll go and head back to the bus, but just promise me that you’ll be gentle with her, at least for tonight. Drunk Bella’s about a million times more fragile and out of it, just make sure she’s safe ok?” Tyler asked me.

“I promise, I’ll even go and get her now just so she’s inside and not drinking anymore.” I promised.

“I just left All Time Low’s bus, and I saw her hanging with them and Bless the fall, just so you know.” Tyler informed me.

“Thanks, I’ll go grab her, but seriously get your ass some rest, you look horrible.” I said.

He threw his head back, letting out a little chuckle but thankfully took my advice.

Now it’s time to find little Miss. Bella.

All Time Low’s bus was only about 300 feet away from ours so it was a bit further than everyone else’s, but it still was enough, especially with having to worry about bringing Bella back with me.

“Come to take the drunken girl?” Jack laughed as I came up to their bus’ door.

“Yeah, as much fun as I’m sure she’s had today, we want to get her back in the bus so she can at least calm down a bit and try to get some rest.” I informed him.

“Earlier she was absolutely off the wall, shit faced drunk, now she’s just kind of mumbling and out of it.” Jack told me, opening his bus up to me.

As soon as I walked into their bus I was able to spot Bella.

She was the girl clutching her head with all her might, and curled up on the couch.

“Hey Bells.” I cooed, kneeling next to the couch.

“I’ve got to go home…...Chance is waiting….need to go.” She mumbled, and tried to suddenly get up from the couch.

“Woah, let’s take a second. You drank your little heart out sweetie, the only thing you need to do is let me take you back to our bus.” I whispered.

“No...first Chance phone.” She stuttered, so obviously out of it.

“Ever since the wild side of her drunkenness subsided that’s all she’s been talking and worried about. The only thing that truly makes sense is Chance and a phone. No one knows how she wants the two things to relate though. She’s not making any sense.” Alex told me.

“I’ll just go and take her back to our bus, Tyler’s down for the count tonight so maybe Thrasher and or Craig can help, maybe TJ but….I’m sure drunk Bells won’t be any more fond of TJ.” I said, turning my voice into a whisper as soon as TJ was mentioned.

“Text text text.” Bella hurriedly mumbled out as I finally got her into my arms and lifted her up.

“Who the hell knows.” Jack stated, shaking his head back and forth.

“Gotta reply.” She whined in a much more worried voice as I finally got her into our bus.

“Bella, you’re not making any sense at all. Take a few deep breaths and I’ll go grab Craig and see if he can’t understand you.” I whispered.

Once I saw that she was situated on the couch I quickly went back to the back lounge room where I saw Craig and Thrasher hanging out, apparently TJ had already passed out tonight.

“Craig can you please come up front with me and try to figure out what in the hell she’s saying. All we can figure out is it has something to do with Chance and a phone.” I explained.

“How drunk is she?” Craig asked.

“This time it’s a different drunk, she’s not so rowdy and riled up, she’s more just exhausted looking and making no sense whatsoever.” I told him.

With a slight groan Craig got up, following me back to where Bella was.

Craig took both of her hands in one of his, kneeled down in front of her and looked her straight in the eyes.

“Now what is this nonsense about Chance and a phone?” He questioned her, in a very stern voice, once which obviously got her more focused.

“Chance text….can’t find out.” She said with a bit more clarity in her voice, but her words even more confusing.

“What the fuck?” Craig said, turning around to look at me.

I just shrugged my shoulders, as if I knew.

“Tyler will be able to figure it out.” I sighed, knowing that he would be able to figure it out, but not wanting to bother him either.

“Oh, so maybe you did need me?” Tyler chuckled, slowly walking out of the bunk areas.

“She’s not making any sense, and since you’re the Bella whisperer…..” I hinted to him.

“What have you managed to get out of her?” Tyler wondered.

“Something about Chance, a phone, possibly a text and she said he can’t find out.” I said.

The confused look on Tyler’s face made me laugh, only because it’s exactly what Craig and I were thinking.

Tyler quickly replaced Craig’s place on the floor and once again grabbed her hands, which did the job of getting her attention once more, as we could see the alcohol getting to her and now just making her sleepy.

“Ok, so let’s get to the bottom of this thing. There was a phone and a text?” Tyler questioned her, making it as easy as possible.

“Mhm.” She mumbled, giving one affirmative nod.

“Did you send the text?” Tyler asked.

“No!” She said, her voice raising into a yell.

“Yeesh.” Craig muttered.

“Nod your head if Chance sent you the text.” Tyler commanded her.

She quickly nodded her head.

Progress was being made, now we just had to figure out what this text was and why in the hell it was such a big deal to her and why it was causing this whole thing.

“What did he say sweetheart?” Tyler cooed.

“No, I’ve got to text him back, can’t know.” She cried, trying to quickly overpower him and stand up.

“Hey, hey, hey, shhhh. Where’s your phone? Just let me know and we can get it and see what’s up.” Tyler whispered to her.

“ Old Pocket.” She whispered.

“Old?” I questioned her.

“From this morning.” She replied.

“I brought her clothes from this morning into the back room, you want to go grab that for me?” He asked me.

“I’ll be right back.” I said, already heading to the back of the bus.

Over the back of the couch I saw her clothes laid over them. I grabbed her pants and instantly felt her phone.

Bingo.

I grabbed it and met back up with Tyler, Craig, and Bells as fast as I could.

I threw it to Tyler and he unlocked it by helping Bella place her finger on the phone to unlock it.

As soon as he did I saw him go straight to messages and to the only contact she had, Chance.

Within a second I was able to see the text message that had got her so worried.

Chance had sent it a little less than 3 hours ago.

It read, ‘I’m getting seriously worried Bella. What the hell is going on? I’ve called you about a million times and I’ve not heard back. I’m scared for you. If I don’t hear from you within 3 hours I’m taking a plane to where the next concert is and finding you. Please just text me so I don’t have to and I know you’re safe.’

No wonder why she was freaking out.

“Can’t know, he’ll hate me.” She cried, obviously in emotional pain over this.

“It’s ok Bells. We can quickly text him back and tell him you’re ok.” Tyler attempted to soothe her.

“He’s going to hate me. I fucking can’t do anything right!” She screamed, so extremely damn loud I felt like she would have damaged her vocal chords.

“Bella, stop, ok? We’ll text him as you and say you’re fine, just tired. I’ll add in that you just want to rest.” Tyler told her.

“Let me go, need to go home.” She yelled once more.

“Please take her into the back and make her sleep. I’m way too tired to deal with her any more tonight, and my headache can’t take any more.” Tyler whispered to me.

Tyler handed the phone off to Craig and made his way swiftly to the bunks.

I felt terrible for making him wake up, but no one else would have gotten that out of Bella.

“I need to go to Chance!” She hollered, suddenly jumping up from the couch.

“No, you’ve got to just fucking go to sleep.” Thrasher groaned, coming in looking super tired from the back lounge, picking Bella up, throwing her over his shoulder and bringing her into the back room.

Her screams were still echoed all the way to the front of the bus. I knew if the alcohol wasn’t in her she wouldn’t be acting up this bad, but still….it was annoying.

“Ok, I got the text sent to Chance, basically I just typed as Bella and told him that I was fine, I didn’t answer because I took a long bath and an even longer , blah blah blah, and that I was now headed off to bed.” Craig told me.

“Ok, good. The last thing we needed was him showing up here. It’ll make figuring out everyone's’ game plan tomorrow evening much easier, not having to deal with him.” I said.

“Agreed.” He replied.

“Let’s just get the hell to bed while Thrasher still is taking care of her so that we can at least be rested tonight and deal with tomorrow as it comes.” I told him.

“Sounds good to me.” Craig agreed, and then took off to his bunk, I followed right after him to my own.

The muffled cries of our pet could still be heard through wall of the lounge, but I had to shut that out.

Soon enough either the alcohol or Thrasher would knock her out.

Exhaustion is what did me in.

Chance’s POV -

My phone sat on the desk, feet away from me as I paced back and forth in the room.

Sitting in this room, just waiting and not knowing where Bella was or even if she was ok was killing me.

I was starting to fear the worst, I knew from the very first second Bella left it was a bad idea.

She’s stubborn as all hell though, but who am I to judge her actions?

That poor thing has gone from hell and back.

I suddenly stopped pacing and just sat on the bed.

I had to just stop and relax before I gave myself a heart attack.

However, I was quickly pulled from my torturous hell.

My ringer went off, the one that was connected to Bella’s phone.

Running straight to the phone, I unlocked it and saw what I had been looking for.

A text from her, something to tell me that she was alright.

After reading her text, a giant stupid smile was plastered onto my face.

“Thank God you’re ok.” I whispered.

I sent her back a real quick text letting her know that I loved her, was glad to find out she was ok, and that I hoped she slept well.

She’d be back not tomorrow, but the day after. I needed that to come soon so I could once more wrap my arms around my love.

Life just wasn’t the same without her.

Thrid book here I comeeee!! I love your ideas! Gosh I wish I was a good writer like you.

@BlackVeilsinWhite
Nope, it's still the same, which means I've no longer got access to my stories and I refuse to reupload them :(

@Eternally_Yours93
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear that!

Hopefully, it's just a glitch and will let you get back into the other account soon!

I've talked to a few others on here who have had that same exact problem though, so at least you know it's not just you.

I'm thinking it's just a big old glitch from the website itself, as it tends to be finicky a lot.

I am so sad I can't access my other account Beautiful_Disaster... I've lost where I was on this book :( x

@Siora

New chapters will start being uploaded again starting in the next hour :)
