Movie Theater Drive-In's

Ch 1

There are two social classes in small town Fitzgerald. You got your Hoods, the ones who live in the south and are poor, and then you have your Aces, the ones who live in the north side of town who were rich. The middle class didn’t have a class name; they were just the lucky kids who were never involved in the fights or rivalries.

The Hoods hated the Aces for having it easy when they’ve had to battle within their neighborhood in order to survive. The Aces hated the Hoods not having so much expected of them while they were forced to be doctors and lawyers. They hated each other for reasons that were uncontrollable. No one knew how the rivalry started but they knew how to keep it alive.

One high school containing all seven hundred teenagers, containing both Hoods and Aces. Through the years, the school has had its fair share of fights, most then getting bad enough that a few students have had to be hospitalized for days.

This wave of Hoods and Aces weren’t any different. The Hoods were still poor and the Aces were still rich. Two social circles that have never been close to touching.

Until they finally did.

Vic, a senior and Hood, fell in love with a goody-goody.

Kellin, a senior and an Ace, fell in love with the bad boy.

Vic watched Kellin walk into the school building. He flicked his friend Jaime on the shoulder, pointing over to the unsuspecting boy who was talking with his friends at their lockers. He smirked to his friend and walked over to Kellin, slamming his locker closed as Jaime stood off to the side.

“Hey good looking.” Vic said with confidence as he eyed Kellin up and down. It was no secret that Vic was gay but no one wanted an early funeral, so they let him be. “When are you gonna ditch this Popsicle stand and hang out with some real men?”

“Everyone knows you Hoods aint nothing but trash.” Kellin said sassily.

“Oh Jaime, look! He hurt me!” Vic said while laughing. “And everyone knows you Acers aint nothing but assholes.”

“What do you want Vic?”

“I told you. I wanna good time.” Vic leaned in a bit closer into Kellin’s personal space and whispered, “Word on the street is that you, doll face, know how to have a great time.”

The chatter in the hallway stopped after the echo of a smack was heard. Vic gripped his cheek as he glared at Kellin. “You’re nothing but a waste of space. I am better than you and you will give me respect.” Kellin said through gritted teeth.

Kellin found himself being held against the cold lockers with a tight grip around his neck. “Now listen here you little shit.” Vic growled. “This will be the first and last time you ever touch me.” Kellin stared wide-eyed as Vic pulled out a pocketknife and opened it. Vic friends were holding off Kellin’s friends, each of them ready to fight if it was called for. Vic lightly ran it over Kellin’s cheek, from the edge of his eye to the edge of his lip. “I’d watch who you talk to like that doll face. Someone may not be as nice as I am. But here’s a little reminder of who I am just in case you wanna cross the line again.” Vic pushed the knife deeper against Kellin’s cheek until it broke a bit of skin. He leaned in after he removed the knife away, and licked the cut. “I wonder if your cum tastes this sweet.” He murmured to himself.

Kellin gasped for air as he fell to the floor. He grabbed his neck as he glared up at Vic. In retaliation, Vic spat at him. “I hate you.” Kellin croaked out.

“Feelings mutual. Guys let’s go.” Vic hollered.

Kellin watched as Vic left with his friends. When they rounded the corner, the principle came running from the other side of the school. “What happened?” he asked as he helped Kellin to his feet. “Who did this to your face?”

“Who else?” Kellin said. He took out his phone and looked at his cheek.

The cut wasn’t that bad if he’s honest with himself. The principle put out his walkie-talkie and ordered the security guards to look for Vic. Kellin stormed off to class, letting the blood dry on his skin. As he walked towards class, Vic was being led by two guards with his wrists in handcuffs behind his back.

“Hey babe, you look cute.” He called out. Kellin simply scoffed, turning his nose in the air. “I’ll be back!” Vic yelled.

“Keep it walking Fuentes.” One of the guards said, pushing him forward.

Once Kellin got into class, he sat down ignoring the murmurs and stares he received. He’s better than these low lives. The teacher walked in, giving Kellin a curious glance. He raised an eyebrow, challenging her to say something. She shook her head and began class.

Half way through the class, Kellin’s phone buzzed in his lap. He unlocked his phone and saw that he had a text from his best friend Jesse.

From Jesse : Brawl tonight at 10:30. Hoods territory. CLEAN. In ?

To Jesse : Leave me Fuentes

“How are you not expelled?” Jaime asked as he sat next to Vic in the cafeteria.

“They have no way to prove that I was the one who cut Kellin’s pretty face.”

“What about everyone that saw?”

“If everyone is smart, they’ll stay quiet. No one wants me on their bad side; not even the Acers.”

“They want a rumble tonight, after what happened with Kellin. They talked to Ronnie.”

“News travels fast, don’t it? What time?”

“Ten thirty.”

“Ok, that’s doable. The old lady should be asleep by then.” Vic said as he thought about his afternoon plans. “What kind of fight?”

“Skins.” Vic nodded as he looked around the crowded cafeteria. “Someone wants a little one on one time with you though. If I’m correct, he requested that they leave you for him.” Jaime said with a smirk.

“Who?” Vic asked.

“Kellin.”

“Kellin? The same Kellin that’s too much of a princess to even run half a lap in P.E.?” Jaime nodded. “Told you he wants me. The Fuentes charm is good for even him to resist.”

“What are you gonna do?”

“Test out the waters. See if he hits strong enough to fight back.” They sat in silence before Vic asked, “Are they gonna bring the little ones?”

“Yeah. Mike and Tony are ready to kick ass.” Vic nodded as the bell rang. “I’ll see ya later.” Jaime said as they parted ways.

Vic walked to class and sat in the back. Despite his complete bad boy look, he was pretty smart. He wanted to get out of this small town with his brother and mother without having to look back and he knew that getting good grades was the only way that’ll happen.

He watched as other students filled the classroom and his signature smirk appeared when he saw Kellin walk in. the blood had long since dried up, and the cut was already scabbing over. Vic thought Kellin looked cute with blood on his skin. When Kellin noticed Vic staring he, rolled his eyes and sat down next to one of his friends.

“Alright class, please settle down.” The teacher said after the bell had rung. Once the chatter died down, she continued to talk. “We’re doing a group project.” The majority of the class cheered, “But,” she said loudly, speaking over them, “I’m choosing your partner and there’s no switching.” Everyone groaned. She started reading over the list, someone kids sighing in relief while others sighed in irritation. “Next we have Vic and,” she said, catching Vic’s attention. He wondered which asshat he was paired up with. “Kellin.”

“What?” they both shouted in shock. The class got quiet before someone began giggling, causing the entire class to laugh at them. Vic glared at a few kids, making them stop.

“Miss, I’m sorry but I can’t work with … it.” Kellin said.

“He’s right. I mean … you’re basically having me work with a walking STD!” Vic said with a smirk. The giggling began once again.

“Says the fucking manwhore!”

“Babe, there isn’t a mirror, stop talking about yourself like that.”

“Boys!” she shouted, slamming her yardstick against her desk. “That will be enough! I talked to the principle about it and he agreed.”

“Did you give him a blow job to get him to agree?” Vic asked. Even then, Kellin bit back a giggle that threatened to escape. He would not give Vic the satisfaction of making him laugh.

“Principal’s office now!” the teacher shouted.

When he got there, the first thing he heard was, “Vic, you’re a bright kid.,” the principle said as he stared at the boy in front of him. “Why do you insist on acting like such a rebel?”

“I haven’t the faintest clue of what you’re saying.”

“First you cut Kellin, th-.”

“Is there proof that I cut Kellin?” Vic asked. “Or are you just pinning this on me because I’m an easy target?”

“Then,” he continued. “You disrespect the teacher. When I met you in ninth grade, you were a good kid. You had dreams, goals. What happened?”

“I don’t see a therapist degree hanging on your wall.” The principle sighed as he leaned back in his chair. “Look, my grades are probably the best in the whole school and I don’t do terrible things that could fuck up my chances of getting into a great college so stay out of my business.” Vic said coldly as he stared at the man.

“Three more chances Vic. It’s November and you have three chances to fuck up. The third time, no matter what it is whether it’s fighting or simply being disruptive in class, you will be expelled and I will write down every single thing you did wrong on your record.”

“Are you threating me?” the principle shrugged. “You’re lucky you’ve got cameras in here because I can make it look like an accident. Don’t you ever threaten me again.” Vic stood up quickly, causing the chair to fall backwards with a loud thud. “You don’t know who you’re messing with.”

As Vic talked with his friends outside the school, Kellin walked up to him making sure it was known that he was disgusted by having to be near their kind. It was humiliating, honestly. Oli was the first to notice Kellin and he smirked as he watched him walk their way.

“Hey look, here comes Vic’s boyfriend.” He said in his thick British accent. Everyone turned to look at Kellin who stood in front of them with his arms crossed.

“Hey sweet cheeks, want me to fuck that ass already?” Vic said, causing his friends to laugh.

“Here.” Kellin replied, ignoring the comment. He stuck his hand out so Vic could take the paper. “We’ll start working on it tomorrow.” With that, Kellin walked away towards his group of friends.

“What was that about?” Mike asked.

“Our English teacher paired us up to do a project together. She gave the principle a blow job so he could approve.” Vic said as he read over the instructions.

“What do you guys have to do?”

“We have to write about each other. I’m gonna have to chill with the bitch to get to know him better and then write about what I’ve learned about him.” Vic’s friends began laughing at him, telling him he’s going to have to be up with the tight ass pricks. “Hey,” Vic said, beginning to defend himself. “It’s a better excuse to get into his pants.” Ok, so maybe he wasn’t defending himself but it was still better than staying quiet.

“Alright Fuentes,” Ronnie began. “If you fuck Mister Tight Pussy over there by the time your project is due, I’ll personally pay you two hundred dollars but if you don’t, you owe me two hundred. Do we have a deal?” he had his hand stuck out, waiting for it to be shaken.

“Deal.” Vic replied with a smirk, shaking his hand. He had until April, which seemed like enough time.

Vic already had in mind what he planned to do with that money.
