I Promise You, Someday

*Max's POV*
*3 Months Later (2 Days Before The Wedding)*

"I don't wanna!" I shouted as Tony was tugging on my arm, "Come on Max, you promised" he said, I groaned, "I can't go!" I said, pulling the covers up and hiding underneath them, I felt Tony sit next to me, "And why is that?" He asked curiously, "Because I found a grey hair this morning!" I said, laughing a little, "Max you're whole head is grey?" Tony said pulling the covers up from my grasp to reveal me laughing into the sleeve of my jumper, "Please baby?" He said pleading me, I sighed, "Fine!" I said, giving in to his puppy dog eyes, I got up and got dressed throwing my hair into a messy bun and putting on no make up because I didn't have the strength, today was the day that I go for my first scan. A couple of weeks ago I was sick at Katelynne's again so she made me take two pregnancy tests and they both came back positive, today was the day I was finding out if I was pregnant or not, Tony had been wanting me to go for a while now but I always found excuses to put it off but unfortunately nothing works anymore, "You still look beautiful" he said giving me a quick kiss and ushering me to the car, "Don't you have a hotel to check into? I mean we're getting married in two days?" I asked he shook his head, "No that's tomorrow" he said shrugging, I nodded and looked out of the window, I was anxious and Tony could tell, "You'll be fine baby, trust me" he said leaning over and resting a hand on my thigh, I nodded smiling at him, he didn't know that. Eventually we reached the doctors, I just wanted to get this over and done with, as we were walking in Tony grabbed my hand and gave me a reassuring squeeze, I smiled a bit as he signed me in and we sat in the waiting room, I couldn't help but laugh that over 4 years ago I was sitting here and so was Rachael, I was dragged out of my thoughts, literally, when Tony stood up and started pulling on my hand, "What?" I asked, completely forgetting where we were, "That's us!" He said, I gasped and stood up rushing to the room, when we got in it was a female doctor, thankfully, male doctors are just creepy when they touch your vagina and stomach, eughh, I felt a shiver go up my spine when I lay on the bed and she pulled over a monitor, "Okay Max, so you say you've known for nearly 3 weeks now?" She asked, I nodded as I held Tony's hand, she smiled and asked me to take off my jeans which I did, "Yeah just as I thought you are about 3 months pregnant" I looked at Tony and my eyes went wide, "W-what but I'm not even showing, h-how?" I asked scared, the doctor just laughed, "Yeah some pregnancy's are like that because your in denial and you just think your fat but now you know trust me your baby bump will shoot out?" She said, I nodded and looked at Tony, "Wait!?" I said, the doctor looked at me funny, "But I've been drinking!?" I said worrying, "That's okay, the baby wouldn't be fully affected until you were about 5-6 months pregnant" she said, I nodded again as I got a squeeze from Tony, "Would you like to see your baby?" The doctor asked, we both nodded as she pulled out the ultrasound gel.

I pulled up my jumper after I pulled on my jeans, the gel was cold, as she waved the wand over my stomach and pressed a couple of buttons on the screen a faint picture started to appear on the screen after she pressed another couple of buttons the picture started to sharpen up, "Max!" Tony said, I looked at him as he was mesmerized by the screen, "That's our baby!" He said looking at me, I nodded smiling, on the edge of tears, "Yeah, it is" I said as the tears rolled down my face, "Would you like a picture?" She asked, Tony immediately nodded before she even finished the question, "Okay Max, here is some baby wipes, clean yourself up, get dressed and I'll be back in two seconds" she said standing up and smiling, I nodded and wiped the gel off my stomach and got dressed, Tony and I sat in awe as we thought about what just happened, "I think it's a boy" I said breaking the comfortable silence, he nodded his head yes, "Me too!" He said jumping on the bed beside me and grabbing a hold of both my hands, finally the doctor came back, "Okay so we can tell you the gender if you would like?" She asked handing me a green folder with all the same plans that I got when I had Alexis, we nodded, "You're having a boy!" She said smiling, I looked at Tony and we hugged each other as we finished up and headed home, "When do we tell people?" I asked as we were sitting at the kitchen table looking at the ultrasounds and waiting on Alexis to come back from the zoo with Kellin and Copeland, "The wedding?" He suggested, I nodded, "I've got an idea?" I said, he looked at me funny, "What if we place a cupcake at every placement and a small envelope on every table, o0ne scan per table 5 cupcakes per table, then we get the whole table to open the envelope at the same time as the other table, they find out we're pregnant and then they can cut into the cupcakes with a knife which will have a blue frosting in the middle?" I explained, his eyes lit up, "That sounds so fucking cool!" He said standing up and hugging me, "I love you" he said, giving me a quick peck, "I love you too" I said relaxing into his chest. After we spoke more about the revealing of our pregnancy, Alexis finally arrived home with mud on her shirt and face, "Honey, what's on your shirt and face?" I asked as Copeland and Kellin came in, "Uncle Kells was eating an ice cream and asked me if I like snowmen?" She said, Tony and Kellin both burst out laughing, "YOU SHOVED YOUR ICE CREAM ON MY DAUGHTERS NOSE!?" I asked angrily, his face suddenly went all serious, "Babe, it was just a jo-" Tony said but I cut him off by holding my hand up, "YOU'RE SUCH A DICKHEAD! GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY HOUSE!" I screamed, he quickly said bye to Tony and rushed out with Copeland in his arms, "Max" Tony said, I turned to him, "Don't!" I said picking Alex up and taking her upstairs to get cleaned up.

I quickly phoned Katelynne as I lowered Alexis into a bath, "Hello Max?" Katelynne answered, "Hi umm just a little warning you're husband is a dead man?" I said, I heard her laugh a little, "What?" She said with a laughing tone, "Your lovely husband decided to shove his ice cream on my daughters nose, getting the chocolate shit all over her face and white shirt" I said, turning the taps off, "Oh he did, did he?" She asked, I nodded, "Mhh hmmm" I said, rolling my sleeves up, I heard her door shut and Kellin's voice, "Thanks for telling me babes, I'll call you later" she said hanging up, I knew Kellin was going to get an ass whooping but he fucking deserved it, "Babe?" Tony shouted from the kitchen as I came down stairs with Alexis wrapped in her towel poncho, I ignored him, "Max!?" He shouted again, I ignored him... Again, "Maxine!!" He shouted for a final time, "What!" I shouted scaring Alexis a little, "Sorry baby" I said kissing her forehead, "What do you want for dinner?" He asked, I thought for a minute, "Pepperoni pizza with the tomato sauce stuffed crust?" I said bluntly, he nodded and sat beside me on the couch, I shuffled away from him a little as I put Alexis down, "Go feed the hamsters" I said, she nodded excitedly as she ran to the cage in the other room, I turned around and pulled my legs up to my chest looking at Tony, "Babe, if this is about earlier, I'm sorry" he said touching my leg, I just sighed, "It wasn't funny" I said blinking at him, "I know, sorry I laughed but don't you think you was a little hard on Kellin?" He asked, I thought about it, "Yeah, I suppose?" I said sighing, I immediately broke down, Tony cautiously inched closer to me and pulled me to his chest, "What's wrong honey?" He asked as he pulled my hair through his fingers, "I just feel bad because I'm so emotional lately and I just can't help it?" I cried into him, I felt him sigh, "It's fine I'm sure if you apologize to Kellin he'll be chill with it?" He said, rubbing my back, I nodded and sat up, drying my eyes, "How about I phone the pizza and you face time him and Katelynne?" Tony said, I nodded before he kissed me on the forehead and walked out, I grabbed my phone and unlocked it, calling Kellin, "Hello?" He answered sheepishly, "Hi Kells" I said giving him a small wave, "Umm I just want to apologize for shouting and swearing at you earlier, I overreacted?" I said, wiping my eyes, "It's fine, when I came home Katelynne told me off a little and I guess I was kinda mean to do it so I'm sorry" he said smiling at me, I smiled back and nodded, "Is Katelynne there?" I asked, he nodded and walked over to Katelynne holding the phone out in front of both of them, "Hi babe" I said, she smiled and waved frantically, "Hi gorgeous!" She said, "Umm I need to tell you both something and then I'm gonna need your help Katelynne" I said, they looked at me worried, "Okay, Tony and I are pregnant, we're having a boy!" I said, they both squealed with excitement "And we're going to announce it at the wedding so you can't murmur a word to NO ONE!! But I need your help, both your help, Kellin I need you and Tony to photo copy my scan photo and put them in Orange envelopes, also you need to make small cards saying please do not eat" I said, they looked at me funny, "It's for the cupcakes that you and I are going to be making, we're going to make chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing but we're going to put blue frosting in the middle of them?" I said, they looked at me and nodded, "I understand now, I wish we had done that with Copeland!?" Katelynne said, I smiled as Tony walked back over, we spoke to them for a bit until our pizza came, I was looking forward to this wedding more than I was yesterday!
