I Promise You, Someday

*Max's POV*

"JAAIMEEEEEE!!!" She squealed running up to him as soon as she held her arms out I dropped his hands, I eyed them up as they hugged tightly, "Oh my god, where have you been!?" She said as they pulled away, "Well actually Sophee I've been busy with my band, Fiance and daughter!" He said snootily as he pulled me closer to me by my waist, I could feel anxiety build up in me as I gave a small smile and wave, she looked me up and down, "Oh.." She said in a nasty tone, I was a bit offended as I didn't know who she and why she was hugging my husband, they said their peace and goodbye as we went in and she left, I'm surprised she could afford anything with that outfit she looks like a prostitute off the street! We were seated with in 5 minutes and ordered quickly, we both got our own chicken salads, I was still eyeing Jaime up, I didn't want to say anything but I was curious, "Who was that?" I asked not wanting to sound pushy or anything, "Aww that was my ex from before I came here, I had no idea she moved here too but? She is crazy!" He said laughing I just nodded my head and took a sip of my wine. We spoke and laughed and mucked around for about an hour before paying and leaving, we started making our way downtown to a small little village, "Okay, where are you taking me now?" I asked, but he didn't reply, I started getting really bad anxiety, "Jaime" I said starting to hyperventilate a little, "Where are we going?" I said taking deep breaths trying to calm myself down, "Hold on baby, we're almost there" He said glancing over and resting his hand on the gear stick, I rested my hand on top, linking our fingers together we arrived at this large house, it was very fancy, like a dream, I looked at Jaime confused, "Don't say anything, just come with me" He said as we got out the car and he held a hand out fro me, I nodded slowly and grabbed his hand, following him in, "Do you want a tour?" He asked I cocked an eyebrow and nodded without any questions I mean the house was beautiful.

We walked in and toured the house, there was a girls room, guest bedrooms, master bedroom and the downstairs was beautiful, when we went back down to the kitchen there were two glasses of white wine on the island we took them and sat in the living room, "Okay so, who's house is this and why are we here?" I asked Jaime raising my eyebrows, "Well.." He started, "This house used to belong to a couple called Juno Saunders and Sara Saunders but sadly his wife passed away from cancer early this year, he was moving out and our manager is friends with him and he asked if anyone would want/need the house as he was selling it for a lower price than he bought it for and she recommended me, as for who's is its, it's ours if we want it?" He said looking at me with gleaming eyes, I took a few seconds for it to set in but once it did I broke down, Jaime looked at me, "Babe?..." He said, I looked at him trying to fan my tears away nodding, "Yes!! We'll take it!!" I said smiling, his eyes lit up, "Really!?" He asked jumping up, I nodded as I couldn't speak from excitement and jumped up too, "I mean this is going to be great for Alex to grow up and it's still close to our friends and family" I said, we hugged and kissed but were pulled apart by the door bell ringing, I looked at Jaime, "I may have texted the guys to come down and celebrate with us?" He said smiling at me, nervously, I slapped his across the head and went to answer the door, let's get this full party into swing!!
