I Promise You, Someday

*Max's POV*

I woke up at 11am with a sleeping Tony next to me, I quietly got up and grabbed some clothes from the wardrobe and making my way to the bathroom, after an you of make up, bandages, hair and clothing I was finally ready, surprisingly Tony was still asleep, so I called a cab to come and get me in five minutes to go to Starbucks. After 15 minutes of waiting my phone finally buzzed to tell me my uber was here, I left my keys and made my way outside, I saw a yellow cab at the bottom of the drive of the hotel, I made my way down when I heard my name being called, "Max!!" Shouted the familiar voice, I was Andy's, "Hi!" I said waving at him and jumping in the cab, "Where you been?" I asked hugging him, "Sorry my friends have been keeping me busy, you can come stay next week if you like?" He said pulling out and making our way to Starbucks, "No it's fine, I have it all sorted now" I said laughing, "Aww okay, well sorry about that Ma'am, maybe next time yeah?" He asked, I just nodded as I noticed we were getting closer and closer to San Diego, after about 40 minutes of laughing, talking and driving we arrived at Starbucks, I thanked him and got out, I was an hour early so decided to walk around to the nearest hairdressers, "Hello how can I help?" Asked this younger girl, I smiled. "Yes I'd liked to booked for a full dye on my hair tomorrow at 2pm?" I asked as I watched her nod and write it in the diary, "What colour?" She asked I sifted through my phone and finally saw a picture of the hair I've always wanted, I showed her and she nodded, I thanked her and left to walk back around to Starbucks, when I got there Jaime was already there as I notices his car, I took a deep breath and braced myself as I walked in.

He spotted me right away, standing up and waving, I waved back a little as I walked over to him, he suddenly engulfed me in a tight hug, "I've missed you so much!" He said in my ear, I frowned a little, "I missed you too" I said before we pulled apart and sat at a table for two, "What do you want to talk about?" He asked as he looked at me, "Us?" I said taking a sip of my tea he had ordered me, he nodded, "I know we haven't had the best relationship but we can make it work!?" He said, I nodded a little, "Actually Jaime, I can't be with you, you know I love you I always have and always will I just cant be with you and it's not just because of that incident, you've been M.I.A for the past couple of weeks and I just feel like this isn't a relationship anymore!?" I said, nearly crying, he looked at me with tears in his eyes nodding, "I actually have a confession" he said, looking at me with sad eyes, I nodded for him to go on, "I've been sleeping with someone, behind your back" he said, I heard a couple next to us gasp as they looked at him disapprovingly, "Who?" I said as I tried to stay as calm as I could, he sighed, "Alysha..." He trailed off, I looked at him in disgust, "Well you know what?" I said as I got up, he looked up at me with hurt in his eyes, "Fuck you!" I spat as I turned on my heels and walked out, I heard him shout on me as I was walking out and I felt feet padding along the ground as I started walking as fast as I could to Vic's house, "Max!! Wait!!" He shouted as I started to run but he was too fast for me, he came and tugged on my hand, "I broke it off with her right after, I promise?" He said, guilt obviously over taking him, I just shrugged, "I don't care?" I said as I broke his grip and started to run, thankfully he never ran after me this time, finally I reached Vic's street. I ran up to his door and knocked on it, Danielle answered, "Max? What's wrong?" She asked concerned and I broke down, I was crying and shaking and I just froze, "Come in" she said as she ushered me in by the arm, "Vic!!" She shouted as we sat on the couch, he came rushing down the stairs when he saw it was me, "What happened?" He asked, he knelt in front of me and put his hands on mine as Danielle got up to put the kettle on, "Jaime's been cheating on me... With Alysha!!" I cried out as I put my head in my hands, I heard Vic gasp and then Danielle, I heard Vic move and sit next to me pulling me into a hug, comforting me as was Danielle when she came back with some tea.

After I told them what he said and what happened the night before, I had calmed down a little and Vic had phoned Mike to come over, "Okay what the fuck is the emergency because I was in the middle of..." He trailed off as he shut the door and saw me sitting on the couch, my sleeves rolled up, my eyes red and puffy while I was still shaking a little, "Max!! What the fuck!?" Mike said as he came rushing over, bending down in front of me, I just shook my head, "T-take me back, I wan-nt Tony, I j-just want Ton-ny" I said as I was shaking badly again, Mike nodded and grabbed a bottle of water out of the fridge and took me to the car, I thanked Danielle and Vic for everything as I left, "Okay so tell me what happened to you?" He said reaching over and resting a hand on my thigh as we drove back to the hotel... This was going to a long ride home.
