I Promise You, Someday

*Jaime's POV*

"Himes?" I heard Max call as I was unpacking my suitcase, "Yeah, baby?" I said turning around and walking towards her and pulling her closer by the waist until our faces were inches apart, Max bit her lip, god she's so sexy, "Mike is coming for Alex at 5:30pm, it's 5:15pm now can you please make sure she gets dressed and packed before Mike is here, I'm just going for a shower." She said, I could feel her hot breath on my face, I nodded, "I think we can manage that?" I said smiling, she laughed and shook her head, as she went to walk away I grabbed her hand and pulled her back, she looked at me smiling but confused, "Since I'm back.." I trailed over pulling her closer to me gradually, "I am going to take my beautiful wife to be to dinner" I said rubbing our noses together, I saw her eyes fill with joy as she blushed and nodded, "Okay, it's a date" she said, giving me a quick peck and running to the shower, I laughed at her excitement. I walked into Alex's room and saw her on the floor playing with Mr Pickles, "More tea?" She asked and then she giggled, "You're right Mr Pickles we don't want to start peeing tea" I laughed at her silliness before crouching down to her level, "Hi daddy" She said looking at me with happy eyes, "Hello sweetheart" said ruffing her hair a little, "I missed you, daddy" she said kissing my cheek and wrapping her arms around my neck, "I missed you too" I said picking her up with her still wrapped around my neck and carrying her over to her bed, "Now, what says we get you dressed and ready for Uncle Mikey's?" I said, she looked at me with wide eyes and a smile nodding frantically, she jumped up and walked over to her wardrobe picking out her clothes while I tidied her tea set away, I stood up, watching her putting her pants on, "Alexis?" I asked cocking an eyebrow, she looked up from her pants to me, "Did you change your underwear today?" I asked, she looked at me with a frightened expression, shaking her head no and running over to her underwear drawer pulling out a fresh pair and putting them on. When she finished putting her clothes on she sat down at her small dressing table, "Daddy, will you please do my hair?" She asked holding out a hair tie and brush, I laughed and nodded walking over and putting her hair in a ponytail. Once I was finished she stood up and turned to me, "Dan Aah!" She said brushing herself down, "You look beautiful" I said kissing her and crouching down, "Now lets pack yours and Mr Pickles' over night bag, yeah?" I said walking over to her bed, "No daddy!" she said running over jumping and standing on her bed, "I already did it" She said pointing to the door where Mr Pickles was sitting next to two bags, "Well aren't you a clever girl?" I gasped making her giggle and blush, she reminded me of Max so much.

I picked her up and carried her and her two bags downstairs to wait on Mike, while we were waiting Alex was helping me tidy up, Max and I think she may have OCD as she is constantly tidying and fixing things, if she was to line her toys up in a row and you were to move one she would go crazy it's the same if you pick her an outfit she doesn't like out she goes in a strop and picks out her own and it is all matching and it co-ordinates, obviously we are going to get her tested when she is older but we're just going to leave her. As I was in the kitchen tidying up a little I saw her fixing the cushions so they were all matching it reminded me when it was thunder and lightning here and she jumped into our bed and she got such a fright she accidentally peed and the next again morning when I was in the shower and Max was downstairs getting new sheets and she had stripped the pillowcases, the mattress and placed the duvet on the floor as she couldn't strip that because she was too small also she potty trained herself by the age of 3 and a half, she's going on 4 in five weeks, it's amazing how quickly she's growing. Just as she sat down we heard the door open and close, "Your favorite Uncle is here!?" Mike shouted walking in the living room with his arms open as Alexis ran towards him, jumping on him, "UNCLE MIKEY!!" She shouted as he twirled her around and placed her on her feet, after 10 minutes of hugging, kissing and goodbyes they finally left. I ran upstairs as it was 6:15pm and our reservation was an hour from now, I ran to the bathroom and had a quick shower which took about 8 minutes, I got out wrapping a towel around my waist and walking into the bedroom where Max was straightening her hair in a towel in front of the mirror, when I walked in she turned the straighteners off and walked towards me, "How does my hair look?" she asked me as I pulled her closer by her waist, "Your hair looks great, but you look fantastic!" I said kissing her, since she had Alexis, Max has been going to the gym and toning her body up twice a week and she looked amazing, "Thank you!" She said between kisses, "Now get dressed we leave in 45 minutes!" I said, walking towards the wardrobe and pulling out my outfit.

I have a feeling that tonight is going to be a good night, especially with my baby girl...

Family reunion at its best!!

This would've been up so much sooner but the website logged me out, making the story delete itself and then I uploaded it to the WRONG STORY!!! I'M FALLING APART FROM SLEEP DEPRIVATION, I WILL BE OKAY!!
