I Promise You, Someday

*Max's POV*

After about 20 minutes of trying to decide what to wear I finally found the perfect outfit, as I was doing my hair there was a tiny knock at the door, either it was a mouse or it was Alex, "Come in" I shouted curling my hair, I was right it was Alex, "Mommy, is this okay?" She asked walking over and standing in front of the mirror, posing, I looked down and saw that we were basically wearing the same thing, "You look beautiful, Alexis" I said, turning off the curling iron and walking over to her, "Look, twins!" I said pointing to my outfit and then to hers. She started laughing a cute and innocent laugh, she gives me so much life, "Yayy!" She said hugging me, I bent down and kissed the top of her head, "Ready to go to the Zoo?" I asked in an excited tone as we walked down the stairs, "Yes!" She said, running past me and down to Jaime, "Look Mommy and I are matching!!" She said twirling around, "And you both look gorgeous!" He replied winking at us, I blushed a little, "Alex come here a second I want to try something" I said as I rummaged through my bag. She ran over and sat in front of me, "Now don't move okay?" I said warning her and she nodded, I done her eye make up and lips, "Now what do we do with our lips?" I asked, as she puckered her lips together and moved the making a popping sound, Jaime and I both clapped, "Where is Zach?" I asked looking around as there was no sign of him, "I'm here!" He said walking down the stairs and standing beside Jaime, "You two look fabby now lets get going" I said as I grabbed Jaime's hand and pulled him out the door and to the car while Alexis and Zach ran out and hopped in the back. It took us about 20 minutes to get to the Zoo but when we did it was getting quieter as it was about 3pm and the Zoo shuts at 5:30pm on a Friday, "Pleaseeee can we go see the Quokkas first!?" Alex and Zach both pleaded, I looked at Jaime who paid for all of us, despite my objection, he just started laughing, "Well I wanted to go to the aquarium first so how about Alex and Zach, you two go see the Quokkas and the rest of the Marsupials and Max and I will go see the Aquarium and we will meet back here at 4:15pm?" He said, I looked at him confused, why are we going to the Aquarium first? I just brushed it off as Zach set his watch and took Alex's hand, running towards the Marsupials as Jaime and I made our way to the Aquarium.

"Okay so, why did we come to the Aquarium first?" I asked when we reached the blue whales, Jaime looked at me and gave a small laugh, "Because we went to the Aquarium for our first date and every time we are at or even near an Aquarium I remember why I fell in love with you from the start" He said, catching me off guard, I didn't know what to say so I hugged him as tightly as I could, "Oh Himes" I said, tears threatening to fall, "I love you" he whispered in my ear, "I love you too" I whispered back as we stood there taking in each others scent and embrace, I can't believe every thing he has done for me, I feel like if it wasn't from him I would be in a grave and for that I am forever thankful, it's not just him though, it's all of the guys. We were pulled apart when my phone started ringing, it was Mike, Jaime looked at me confused as to why Mike would be phoning me, "Probably about Zach's surprise?" I shrugged as I walked out of the Aquarium to answer it, "What's up Mike?" I answered, walking around as I couldn't stand still when I was on the phone to someone, I don't know what it is, "Go on a date with me! Just one date that's all I am asking for" He said in a panic, I sighed, "Mike I am married" I said, looking at my ring, "I know but Jaime doesn't need to know about it.. Please Max, you are driving me crazy!" He pleaded, I hate it when he does this, "Mike I.." I said but was cut off by him, "Max please, I am begging you" He said, god I hated when he does this, "Fine!! Fuck man" I said, giving him, I could feel him grinning on the other end of the phone, "One date. No physical contact. Nothing, do I make myself clear?" I asked, sternly, "Yes, absolutely" He said, it's not cheating if it's just a 'mate date' is it? I don't know. I pushed they thoughts out of my head, "Also another thing" He said, "What?" I said getting annoyed with him, "Do you want Red Poppies as center pieces or something else?" He asked, I nodded stupidly as I knew he couldn't see me, "Poppies sound fine, Mike, Text me the details" I said, hanging up, and locking my phone again, what have I just done?

I walked in and saw Jaime taking pictures of the different Aquatic animals and himself, I walked towards him and he held his hand out, "Stop right there!" He said holding out his hand, he crouched down with his phone pointing at me, I smiled a little and put a hand on my hip, "Done!" He said walking towards me, "You. Are. Beautiful!" He said kissing my cheek and wrapping an arm around my waist as we walked out of the Aquarium to go meet Zach and Alex, "So I've been told" I said, winking, "What did Mike want?" He asked, casually, I sighed, "He wanted to know if we wanted Red Poppies as the center piece?" I said, well I wasn't lying I just wasn't telling the whole truth. When we got back to the gates of the Zoo, Alexis was on Zach's shoulders watching for us and when she spotted us she was waving so much I thought her arm was going to fall off, looking at Alexis can I really go through with this date?

Okay this is a really crappy chapter because I'm just back from Work Experience and I am tired and sore but I wanted to give you guys at least one (not two maybe three at a push) chapter to read today, things will be back to normal next week as school resumes as usual so the update schedule will be going back to it's normal ways...
