I Promise You, Someday

*Max's POV*

I woke up to screaming and shouting and laughing in the kitchen, Jaime was still sleeping next to me, I rolled over, "Jaime" I whispered, I heard him moan, "I think Alex and Zach are up, listen" I said, as we heard giggling and screaming, I heard Jaime laugh, he rolled over and faced me, smiling, "Thank you again though, it was really sweet of you to let him stay" I said, moving just inches away from his face, "Well he's family and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten" He said, I started laughing, "Did you really just make a Lilo and Stitch quote?" I said, he nodded excitedly and proud of himself, "You're an idiot" I mumbled, "But I'm your idiot" He said back, I rolled my eyes and we started kissing with in two minutes of making out I was already on top of him, we were just getting heated when there was a knock at the bedroom door, I jumped off Jaime and went to answer it, "Hello?" I said before opening it, "Hello Room Service" I hear Alex said, I looked at Jaime as I opened it, and there standing at the door was Alex and Zach, the were covered in flour and Alex was holding a silver plate with a silver lid over it, "What's this?" I said opening the door to let them in as I went back and sat in bed with Jaime, "We made you a thank you breakfast" Alex said, handing us the plate and lid then proceeding to jump on the bed as Zach just stood at the side, smiling, "PANCAKES!?" I said excitedly, Alex nodded her head, "Wow, thanks guys!?" Jaime gasped making Alex laugh. As we finished the pancakes they were about to leave but I called them back, "Guys?" I said looking at them, they turned around, "Is my kitchen messy?" I asked eyeing them up, Alex and Zach shot each other a scared look, "No!" They said at the same time as they rushed out, we could hear them laughing as they pounded down the stairs, I started giggling, "He's such a child" Jaime said laughing, I looked at him, "Tell me about it" I replied, rolling my eyes.


After Jaime and I decided to get up we went down stairs to find the kitchen spotless and Alex on the island while Zach sat on the stool drinking tea, "So did you have fun when you were away?" She asked, Zach looked at her and smiled, "Yes, only I was a little upset" He said, Alex tilted her head to the side, "Why?" She asked, "Because I missed my family and friends" he said, looking at the door and grinning at me, "I would too if I was away for a long time" she said, hugging him, "It's okay Uncle Zachy, you're not alone you have us now" Alexis said, I could feel myself starting to tear up as I watched them, Jaime put an arm around me and I rested my head on his shoulder, "Hey guys?" I heard Jaime say, Alexis pulled away from Zach and stared at him with hopeful eyes, "How about we got to the Zoo and then grab some dinner at a restaurant?" I looked at him and smiled, Alex started nodding, I thought her head was going to fall off, "Zach you in?" I said walking over and putting the kettle on, he nodded, "Sure! I love the zoo!" He said, happily, Alex looked at him, "What's your favorite animal?" I asked them, she looked at Zach and they looked at each other, "QUOKKA!!" They said at the same time, Jaime and I burst out laughing, they both rushed out of the kitchen and up stairs, "I knew he'd be good with her" I said, Jaime came and wrapped his arms around my waist, kissing my neck, "Do you think we could go to the Zoo and then come back here so I can get changed for the Restaurant?" I asked, leaning back into him, I felt him nod, "Yeah, we're going to the Zoo about 3pm because it's 12pm now and then we'll go for dinner about 6:30pm, sound good?" He asked I nodded, I soon had an idea, "Himes what if we throw Zach a welcome home party thing at the Restaurant? Like we phone up the Restaurant and get them to put up a couple banners and bring out a cake and things and Vic, Mike, Danielle, Tony, my Uncle and Aunt and a couple of my Cousins can come through?" I said turning around, he had a massive smile on his face, "What!?" I asked laughing a little, "I already done that, yesterday, your Uncle, Aunt and Cousins are on their way to their hotel now" he said, I sighed, "This is why you are the best Fiance ever, I can't wait to marry you" I said kissing him and pouring the hot water into my tea. Seriously he thinks of everything.
