Bulletproof Love

Emily’s POV:
“Em, wake up!” Tony whispered as he shook me awake.
“Where are we?” I said rubbing my eyes.
“Palm Springs baby!” he shouted, I laughed and checked the time. I grabbed my backpack and a change of clothes from the back and Tony followed my actions. We walked inside and Tony went to the front desk.
“One room please, just for the night” he said, you could hear the exhaustion in his voice. He had been driving all night, 2:30am – 6:00am. We ran up to our room and I jumped onto our bed.
“I say we sleep until two, then we get ready and party!” Tony said crawling up next to me.
“Anything is good if you’re with me” I laughed, we turned on ‘Beauty and the Beast’ then we fell asleep.

Tony’s alarm was singing Fall Out Boy and I turned it off. The texts from Vic had started and I ignored all of them. I got out of bed and put on some leggings and a sweater. I hopped onto our bed and started jumping up and down until Tony woke up. When he saw me he laughed and he got ready. We were out the door in 6 minutes flat.
“Oh, lets go in there!” he said pointing to a window filled with dresses. I rolled my eyes and followed him in.
“Okay, you pick my outfit and I’ll get yours” I said.
“3, 2, 1, Go!” he yelled and we both parted ways. I searched through the mens clothes until I found a black short sleeve button up shirt, I also grabbed a pair of skinny khakis and last I got him a pair of black vans. I held my pile and went looking for Tony. I found him searching through dresses.
“Here is what my beautiful girlfriend will be wearing tonight” he said handing me a short dress that had a blue lace top and a black skirt piece, and a pair of black high heels.
“And here is what you will be wearing” I laughed, we gathered everything and went to pay. After leaving the store we decided to have lunch at Starbucks.
“So how do you like the adventure so far?” Tony asked as he sipped his coffee.
“I am loving every second of it!” I laughed.
“Vic texted me this morning” he started. “He said that he hates me and he wishes we would never have met”
“Tony, don’t listen to Vic, he needs to stop being a little bitch and grow up. He is acting so ridiculous” I said trying to cheer him up.
“I love Emily” he said.
“I love you too, and I am glad we met but I think we should head back and start getting ready” I laughed.
“I call shower!” I yelled as I ran into the bathroom. I quickly showered and left in my towel.
“You look so beautiful” Tony mumbled and he pulled me into a hug.
“Tony, you’re going to make my towel fall!” I said and he pulled away. I got dressed into my new dress and did my makeup. Then I blow dried my hair and curled it. By the time I was done Tony came out of the bathroom dressed and his hair was fixed up.
“We are a pair of hot runaways!” he said, I agreed and slipped on my heels.
“Shall we?” I said holding out my hand.
“We shall” he said grabbing it and walking out.
