Bulletproof Love

2 WEEKS LATER
Emily’s POV:

“Shhhhh, you are going to wake her up! She is still sleeping!”
“Does she always sleep this late?”
“Yeah, she is just like you!”
“Well when is she going to wake up?”
“I don’t know, it could be days!”
“But I want to see her!” I almost flew out of my bunk when I recognized that voice.
“Kells!” I screamed pushing him back onto the couch and sitting on him.
“She lives!” he yelled.
“What the hell are you doing here?” I asked, I didn’t really care I just wanted to know.
“Well we just happened to be passing by, and I figured why not come see my best friend!”
“I am so excited to see you holy shit!” I yelled.
“Yeah, yeah. Now go get ready so we can get some coffee!” I immediately got up and put on my light skinny jeans and a drop dead shirt, I quickly tied my hair in a bun and ran back to Kellin dragging him out the door.
“Be back by 5!” Matt yelled.
“It’s so good to see you Em” Kellin laughed.
“Kellin I literally miss you guys so much, I don’t know how you do it”
“But are you having the time of your life?” he asked.
“I guess so”
“And you’re happy?”
“Yeah”
“That’s how I do it” I gave him a confused look and he clarified. “Even though I have to leave Copeland and my boys and my wife at home, I know that they love me just as much as I love them. They know that I will always come back even if for the smallest time. It’s hard but I couldn’t ask for anything more. I am on this crazy roller coaster ride of life and right now everything is getting better. Every time that I go home I treasure that time with my family like gold. And all we want is gold, isn’t it?” he said. I get it, I mean me and Tony have gotten closer since ive been gone but it is still hard. It has only been two weeks and Jack already missed bus call and had to sleep on top of the bus. Tour is fun. We both exchanged tour stories and stories about back home.
“How are you dealing with Alex?” he asked suddenly changing our topic.
“Um, I guess it’s going okay we don’t really talk about it, but I think I mentally have forgiven her” Kellin nodded.
“And how is Tony?”
“He is good, I text him every chance I can. It’s still hard being away from him like this” I said honestly.
“I get it, but I promise it will all work out. In six weeks you will be back in Tony’s arms!” I smiled at the thought of being back with Tony. I can’t wait to see Jaime’s stupid hair again, and I want to have Cam yell at him. I want to laugh at Mike’s stupid jokes, and I want to hear Vic singing in the kitchen every morning. But most of all, I want to feel Tony’s kiss again.
“It’ll come soon Em, I promise” Kellin said as he grabbed my hand. We continued eating our food and conversation until I had to get back. Kellin said he would stay for the show and he did. Every time I would look off stage he would flash a smile or he would give me a thumbs up. I was glad he was here; I ran off after our set and hugged him,
“Hey look at that, you’re a famous drummer now!” he laughed, he walked me back to my bus and he gave my one last hug before he left. I watched him drive away before I headed to my bunk. Once again I pulled out my journal and read another entry.
