Bulletproof Love

Emily’s POV:

“So did you want to look cute or classy? Chic or sassy?” Jaime said going
through my closet. “I don’t know Hime; I don’t go on dates often!” I said he was helping me get ready for my date with Tony. “Oh my god, try this on!” He said handing me a black lace dress with long sleeves. “If you say so.” I said as I walked towards my bathroom. I slid the dress over my head and looked in the mirror. “Holy smokes” I whispered to myself. I looked pretty, I felt pretty. I walked out and Jaime looked so satisfied with his choice. “You look stunning!” He said pulling me into a hug. “Let’s do some hair and makeup.” He dragged me to my room and sat me at my vanity. Jaime curled my hair while Cameron helped with my makeup. “Wow are you a professional hair stylist?” I said shocked at how well my hair looked. “Well my hair doesn’t do this on its own!” He laughed pointing to his incredibly tall hair. We all laughed before him and Cameron pulled me into a hug. “I’m really glad I met you Jaime” I whispered. “Yeah, I am too, but don’t tear up because I don’t want your makeup to run!” He said and then winked at me. “Go get him.” Cameron added, I smiled and walked out towards the kitchen. Mike saw me first and hugged me. “You look beautiful Em” He said while kissing my forehead. Vic walked over to us. “Okay, I know that this is more of a parent thing to say but you’re my little sis so I’m telling you anyway. Rule number one no sex, like at all, I don’t need baby turtles running around on tour.” He said and then hugged me. “Rule number two, if you are really going to do it, please use protection.” He laughed and so did I. “Rule number three, Have fun” Mike added. “Will do!” I said before the doorbell rang. I ran down the stairs as fast as my heels would let me. I opened the door and found Tony on the other side.

Tony’s POV: “Holy Shit” I said and then quickly covered my mouth. She looked gorgeous.

“You like?” Emily said as she spun around so I could see her full outfit. “Um oh yeah!” I said she pecked my lips and then we heard Vic. “Have her back by midnight Tony!” “No problem!” I shouted back and we headed towards my car. “So where are we going?” Emily said talking over our soft music. “You’ll see” I said with a wink.

Emily’s POV:

We hadn’t even got to where we were going and I was already excited. We pulled up to a restaurant that I hadn’t been too before. “Reservation for two under Perry” Tony said to the waitress. The lady quickly guided us to a small table. “Can I get you anything to drink?” The waitress asked. “Give us a bottle of your finest wine” Tony told her and off she went. After ordering our food and drinking our wine we just started talking. Learning more about each other. It was nice to not be scared to talk to someone. I liked Tony, I liked him a lot and as much as I hate to admit it I was pretty excited to go on tour and sing. We were done eating and ready to leave around 9. After Tony fought me for the check he paid, but I left a pretty good tip. We got in the car and drove away; we weren’t headed home so I assumed there was more to this date. Good I didn’t want it to end. Tony stopped the car in the parking lot of a playground. He guided me over to a blanket that was lying in the grass surrounded by candles. We sat on the blanket and he pulled some cheese cake out of a basket. “Tone I’m already full!” I laughed and he still handed me a slice, I ate it anyways, and it was so good! After eating our candle lit desert we walked to the swings. We again started to share stories from out childhood. I could have sat there forever if it didn’t get so freaking cold. I pulled out my phone and checked the time; it was already 11:30. “11:30 we should head back we don’t want Vic getting angry!” he said taking the words right out of my mouth. I nodded and we headed back. “I don’t want tonight to be over Tony, I’m having too much fun. Um, do you want to stay at my place tonight?” I asked unsure of how he would react. “I was hoping you’d ask!” he laughed. We walked into the house just as Jaime was heading out, he immediately asked me questions. “It was awesome, no I’m not pregnant, and yes tomorrow we leave for warped.” I told him answering all his questions. “But I am tired so I am going to head to bed!” I announced, I tugged on Tony’s hand dragging him to my room with me. I changed into some PJs aka Tony’s shirt, and Tony got settled till he was just in his boxers. I turned on ‘Star Wars’ and climbed in my bed next to him. “I had a really great time tonight, thank you so much.” I said before closing my eyes. He kissed my forehead and whispered something that I couldn’t make out. I quickly fell asleep to the sound of his heartbeat.
