Counting The Stars and Scars

-7 Months Later-

*Max's POV*

The past four months has been a roller coaster of events and emotions Vic got a girlfriend, Danielle, we're close but not that close I mean we go out together and tell each other everything but I'm being cautious because Alysha and I were like that and we all know what happened there. Also we found out that Winter is expecting puppies, they will be here around the 14th September, Jaime's grandma sadly passed away on February 8th which was a sad day for all of us, I found out that my baby is going to be a couple weeks late so will in fact be born around my birthday, Jaime and I haven't got married, yet, but we plan to do so soon as we've been too busy to organize it and finally the APMA's are tonight, I was in the middle of getting dressed when Jaime walked in, "I have no idea what to wear, I'm going to look fat in everything!" I said huffing and sitting on the bed, he just laughed, "Of course you are you're practically 8 and a half months pregnant!" He said pulling me off the bed and picking up the dress I was originally going to wear but threw on the bed, "You'll wear this and you'll look gorgeous, okay?" He said calmly kissing my lips, I gave him a sympathetic smile and nod. He has became so much more tame since his grandma died, she whispered something to him in the hospital but he won't tell me what it is and I don't want to pressure him too much because it'll just upset him. He sat me down on the chair and started straightening my hair, I'm going to get it striped and dye it like a grayish white soon, I started on my make up when he was done straightening as he was getting his suit on, Tony has been nominated for the Best Guitarist by Gibson or something but we were all stoked, by the time I had finished my make up, Jaime was already dressed, he looked so smart in his suite, he was wearing the exact same outfit from when we went on our first date, I smiled, "Now this brings back some memories" I smiled kissing him passionately, when we pulled away I looked at his wrist it was 5:30pm the car was coming for us at 6pm I needed to get a move on, after pottering around for 25 minutes I was finally ready, "Finished!" I said holding up my hands, "See that dress compliments our princess perfectly!" He said kissing me and grabbing his wallet and house keys, "Now, lets go win some awards!" I said as we walked downstairs.

When the cab came at 6pm everyone was in it apart from Jaime, Winter and I, obviously we can't take a dog to an event like this so Tony's mum was watching her. All the boys looked dashing in their suits, as I got in I sat directly in front of Mike we were talking and bickering like children the most of the way there, when we were 10 minutes away from the venue, everyone started clapping at first I was confused until Vic spoke up, "This one's for me guys, 4..3..2..1.."

We heard the driver clapping when we finished, I loved this I remember watching the guys do this on the Creep Show Interview and it was on Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle. We pulled up outside and all we could hear was screaming and shouting, I felt the anxiety build up in me, I felt Jaime grab my hand, "You'll be fine, I'm here" he said kissing my head I nodded and got out after Mike, "Pierce The Veil, Pierce The Veil Pierce The Veil!" Was being chanted by everyone over and over, it gave me some sort of relief, as we were entering I heard a couple of people shouting my name, "Max!! Max!! Over here Max!" I turned around and saw some young teenage girls that reminded me of myself, I walked over cautiously, "Hey girls" I said sweetly, giving a little wave, "What's it like being engaged to Jaime?" One of them asked, I smiled and looked behind me at him, "Well it's amazing. Breakfast in bed nearly everyday, hugs and kisses all the time he's like an overprotective big brother but at the same time he is the sweetest husband in the world but we also argue and bicker like brother and sister" I laughed rubbing my stomach as they 'Awed', "Can we get a picture?" They asked, I nodded taking their phones and grabbing a selfie, by the time I had done I had taken about 20 phones and what seemed like 1,000,000 selfies, I started walking away as I noticed Jaime was calling on me, "Bye!" I waved as I walked down the hall but I stopped in my tracks, racing back to the first girl I spoke to, I hugged her close and could tell she was caught off guard, "Promise me you won't hurt yourself again?" I whispered I felt her tears on my shoulder and her head nod, I pulled away and smiled at her running back down the hall do Jaime, "What took you so long?" He asked as he slung an arm around me, "All the fans are so sweet I had to answer their questions and talking selfies with them, obviously" I said in a knowing voice, he nodded his head as we took our seats and I thought about those self harm scars on they poor girls wrists, why is the world so cruel?
