Counting The Stars and Scars

*Jaime's POV*

I woke up with a banging head and a sleeping Max next to me, I smiled as I looked at how cute she is when she is sleeping, I can't wait to marry her. I got up and went to the toilet as I needed a piss, after I flushed the toilet I saw Max standing in the door frame looking at me with huge eyes, her happy expression soon faded when she saw the state of my knuckles, "This is why I don't like fighting!" She said grabbing my hand and holding my knuckles to my face, "It's just a couple scratches and bruises babe, I'll be fine" I said, kissing her forehead and going to walk past her when I stopped, I could feel the anger grow in me as I looked at her arm, it was bruised, black and blue in the shape of a hand print, Jason's hand print, "Jaime, I'm okay, it doesn't hurt, calm down" she said, placing her hands on my bare chest, they were cold, I looked at the floor, trying to suck all the anger and hate away, I looked back up and smiled at her, planting another kiss on her forehead and going back to the bedroom with Max in tow. I climbed back in bed and Max came running from the door and jumped on me, she sat up straddling me, I ran my hands down her body as she leaned forward, kissing me, as she went to pull back I pushed myself up, grabbing her face and pulling it back down, we started kissing more passionately now and things were getting more heated just as we were getting it 'on', my phone started ringing, I groaned as Max sighed, lying down and resting her head on my chest, "Hello?" I said answering, "Hey Hime it's Tone, they guys and I were wondering if you wanted to have a movie night, you know to nurse the hangovers?" Tony asked, I looked at Max as she nodded viciously, "Yeah sounds good, where do you want to do it?" I asked hoping it was going to be here because I couldn't be bothered leaving the house today, "Umm, how's yours and Max's place sounding?" He asked, I sighed with relief, "Yeah sounds good be here for 5pm?" I said looking at the clock, it was 11am now, "Okay bye, BYE MAX!!" He shouted, "Bye Dad!" She shouted back, giggling a little.

"But I don't know what to wear?" Max said as she rummaged through her drawer, "Whatever, you look great in everything" I said as I tidied up a little, she huffed and sat on the bed, "I'm not going!" she said, crossing her arms, "Max, it's in our house you have no choice, no one is going to be focusing on what your wearing or look like" I laughed as I sat on the edge of the bed beside her, "Fine!" she groaned, "But you pick it out for me" she said, looking at me, I nodded laughing, standing up and making my way to the closet. I picked out a cute outfit within minutes, "See was that so hard?" I asked as I set it down on the bed, she just rolled her eyes and started to get dressed, as did I. By the time we were dressed and had all the food and movies set up the guys arrived, Mike gave Max a hug first, it was long and meaningful, spite of me, next was Vic and finally Tony, their hug was long and meaningful too, we all sat down with the junk food in front of us, on the couch was Mike, Max and I, Tony and Vic were on the floor although there are chairs, I can't wait to redecorate we basically have all the stuff it's just having the effort to do it, I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard Mike whisper to Max, "Alysha will be here about 6:30pm" he said, I saw Max smile, "She's good for you" she whispered back, Mike looked at me and then back at Max, "And he is good for you, you're different with him.. Better, even if he does hate me" he laughed a little as did Max and I. The first movie was the latest Hunger Games: Catching Fire part 2, Max's selection obviously, by the time we were on our fifth movie Alysha and Max were both passed out, Alysha had her head resting on Mike's shoulder and Max was spread out across all three of us, she had her feet on Alysha, her legs on Mike and her head resting on my lap as I stroked her hair, "Hey, Mike!" I whispered loud enough for him to hear me as Vic and Tony have already shushed me about 20 times during Tim Burton's Coraline, Vic's choice of course, "Yeah?" he said turning his head, "I don't hate you, I just hate how close you two are, I get jealous" I said, murmuring the end bit, he laughed a little, "Yeah dude, I get it, don't worry I don't want in her pants I just want to protect her as much as you" he said smiling, I smiled back and turned my attention back to the movie out of the corner of my eye I could see Max form a smile on her face, I knew she wasn't asleep. It was 1am by the time everyone except me was asleep, I got blankets out of the cupboard, pulling them over Vic and Tony who were snuggling and Mike and Alysha who were spooning, I carried Max in my arms upstairs, pulling her slippers and cardigan off.

As I was almost asleep I felt something on my chest, I opened my eyes and there was Winter, "No" I whispered pointing off the bed but she just looked at me like I was an idiot, "You're killing me dog" I said as I patted a spot beside me allowing her to curl up and fall asleep, "Jaime?" I heard Max say, "Yes baby?" I said playing with her hair, "You don't have to get jealous over me and Mikey, we're just friends, that's all we'll ever be, I love you, I'm marrying you, not him" she said half asleep, "I know baby, I know, I love you too" I said before kissing the back of her head and going to sleep.
