Diary of Jane. ( On Hold.)

"Jane? That Jane?" I nod and take a drink of my soda, then mentally slapping myself for nodding instead of responding . "Wow."
"I know, and when I received the news it's like it was high school all over again."
"Dude, so you're going to get something?"
"Yah, her daughter said Jane wanted me to have it. I don't know why though. We broke up after a fight we had." "She has a daughter?"
"Yeah. Her name is Nayfee... I'm meeting her today." And I was nervous. This was the daughter of my high school sweetheart I'm meeting here. It's going to be so odd.
"Well good luck with that!"
"Shut up Jaime."
"Whatever Tony. You should bring her to us... If she'd like." "I'll ask. Bye."
"Bye." He hangs up and I put on my shoes before exiting my apartment, making my way to Dyna's house. I just hope she remembers me, and I wonder if Fernando would be there. It would be just like high school all over again. Just 17 and 18 year old hanging out and chilling listening to Blink-182 and maybe even some My Chemical Romance. I sigh and take a final turn before parking in front of the house Nayfee sent the address to. I take one more look at my picture with Jane I had put a my wallpaper and get out of my car. The lights to the house were on, which meant someone was home. I walk up to the door and knock on the red door. I waited, and knocked again.
"Coming!" Someone yelled from the inside. I backup a little and the door opens. "Who are you?" I look at Dyna, and smile. She hasn't really changed much. Maybe just her haircut, and added a wedding ring on her hand. I didn't know she lived close to me, I would've contacted her years ago.
"I'm Tony..." She raises and eyebrow. "I'm here to see Nayfee." Her eyes widen.
"Antonio?" I nod and she wraps her arms around me the second after. "Holy shit.... Where... Where have you been?" "Just about everywhere now."
"I bet. Come inside! Nayfee is watching television with my kids."
"Kids?" We enter her house and i close the door behind us. "Yeah, three. My husband is working right now... Well just got out of work."
"Well congrats on everything."
"Thanks, you too. I've heard the songs. You guys are pretty amazing."
"Thanks." We go into the living room and there was three little kids, two boys and one girl, and a teenager looking at her phone.
"Nayfee? He's here." The teenager looks up and her soft brown eyes meet mine. Her long brown hair was in a side braid, and she stands up. She reaches into her bag and hands me a book. I look at her and then the book.
"It's her diary. She said to give it to you."
"diary? Me?"
"I know, I don't get it either. But she said that you'll find out lots of stuff here."
"Oh." I open the book and see the first date.

September 2nd. First day of Sophomore year.

I sit down and Dyna sits next to me, until one of her kids starts crying.
"Vanessa... Come here baby." The little girl walks up to her and Dyna leaves me and this book. Nayfee continues to look through her phone and stops to see me, and then look down. I look at Jane's writing, and feel the dents her handwriting left on the paper.

Today was an odd day to be entirely honest. People looked at me weird, like they've never seen a girl with red and black hair. I got six classes. English, Geometry, Chemistry, P.E, Guitar and well Homeroom. It was odd, and the books are like super heavy. Everybody is so loud, I can hear them through my earphones. There's a really nice guy in some of my classes, his name is Hextor. Yeah, with an X. He's in a group with other boys and I think one more girl. Her name is Dyna. I got to hang out with her today, she's pretty awesome if I tell you the truth. There's not a lot for today... I'll write soon. J.J.

"They're diary entries of high school." I whisper and flip through the pages quickly. Her pens changing colors and doodles added on some. I have her secrets on my hands


. And I don't know if I want to.
