We stepped back onto the bus just as Vic left, I heard Jaime's voice in the back lounge it sounded like he was arguing with someone.
I made my towards his voice.
"I wouldn't go in there if I was you" Tony said from his spot on the couch.
"What the hell is going on" I asked confused
"Dickhead is arguing with his girlfriend" Tony uttered
"I'm guessing you 2 don't get on" I wondered
"Well when your best friend, hooks up with your girlfriend of 3 years your bound to not like each other" Tony said his voice becoming a little raised and agitated at the end. As he finished I heard the door behind me open.
"I did not hook up with her, how many times do I have to explain" Jaime yelled from behind me.
"Well when I see a picture of you 2 kissing I think you did" Tony argued.
"that was a game of spin the bottle, don't you remember on your birthday we were all pretty hammered, decided a fun game of spin the bottle would be great, my go landed on Kylie, I didn't want to kiss her but you said your were okay with is so she went ahead and kissed me" Jaime defended.
"frankly I don't remember so I don't want to believe you" Tony spat.
"You know what I don't have to deal with your stupid games" Jaime said his voice taking over a tone of anger that I had never heard before. He stormed of the bus slamming the bus door as he went.
I thought for a short while before following him. I stepped of the bus and he'd already vanished.
I walked round the side of the venue where he was sat on the fire escape steps. His head was buried in his arms, and his body shook it looked like he was crying, I'd very rarely known him to cry, he was usually so happy and nothing could get him down.
"Jaime" I said approaching him slowly, taking a seat beside him, I placed my arm carefully around his shoulder, he as quick as I'd done it moved further away.
"Don't" He said simply, I felt hurt by his actions towards me.
"But Jaime, I'm your best friend" I sighed.
"No, Kitty you were gone for a long time, things happened bad things, and you were never there for me when I needed you, so I had to learn to cope on my own without you. I don't think you understand how much you leaving hurt me, for a good part of a year I thought you could've been dead, I even convinced myself you were dead so that it didn't hurt as much, than the thought of you just leaving me, I loved you so much, I tried my best to give you the best life I could, and you just left me without a single word or goodbye" Jaime spat his eyes held so much anger and sadness, I killed me to see how much I had hurt my best friend.
"Jaime, look I'm sorry I really am, I wanted to come back almost as soon as I left, I was just so scared that you guys would hate me or wouldn't want me around, the band was doing so well and I didn't want to hinder your success. But now I just want things to by like they used to, I want my best friend back by my side and my brothers well kicking my ass like they used to." I sighed as a few tears rolled down my cheek.
"You know things aren't going to be exactly how they were before you left, we can't just go straight back to that, it. us will need some work." Jaime said moving closer and closing the gap between us and taking my hand in his.
"of course" I smiled weakly, resting my head on his shoulder, I felt my phone vibrating in my pocket but I ignored it.
We sat like that for a few minutes, not saying anything just enjoying being around each other again.
"So, you have a girlfriend aye" I asked
"Yeah, her name's Marley and she's the most wonderful girl on this entire world, I really love her" He pulled out his phone and showed me a picture of this beautiful girl.
"wow, she's pretty, how did you meet" I wondered.
"At a show, we were playing London England, and she came up to me after the show, she was telling me how the band meant a lot to her and how I meant a lot to her, about how her life pretty much sucked, she had no family, she lived in this shitty run down apartment, and her boss used her for sex regularly, but as long as she had us she could find the positive in life. I asked her if she would join us on the tour, just to get away from her personal hell even for a little while, she said she would and 2 weeks later we were dating and we've together for 2 years now " He smiled his eyes lit up so much when he talked about her.

My phone kept vibrating in my pocket so I quickly answered it I had several missed calls from Kyle, what did he want, I had one text message from him it read:
Meet me across outside the pub across from the venue, NOW or else.


"Um, I've just got to meet a friend I'll be right back" I smiled standing up and began walking. Jaime quickly grabbed me arm.
"is everything ok?" He asked concerned
"yeah, just ex boyfriend problems that need to be dealt with, I'll be back in a few" I said pulling away from his tight grasp.
"okay, be careful though" he smiled weakly


I quickly made my way across the street. I could see Kyle waiting in the distance.
"I thought I and Vic, both made it perfectly clear to get the fuck out of my life asshole" I spat walking up to him.
"Oh and were is you little hero, your gonna need him" and with that Kyle's fist met with my face, I let out a loud scream as I fell to the ground, he sent several kicks to my stomach. He bent down and placed a rag over my face. My vision began to go blurry and everything faded to black, as I felt my self being put in the back of a car.

Notes

So everyone wanted a new chapter and here it is, I hope all of my lovely subscribers/readers/commerters liked it. I left it on a little cliff hanger, I'll tell you now the next chapter won't be in Kitty POV, it will be in Jaime's of upcoming events.
